University tuition fees

I'm doing a 2 year degree at University of Buckingham and it is outrageously good. Paying about double the normal uni fees for a year (as it's privately run), but for a year less, so probably saving money due to living costs etc.
& Of course, having the possibility of having a Masters degree in 3 years is pretty attractive, as well as the uni being in the top 20 in the UK. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking at uni for next year.

Why is it?How many students do 3 year courses then decide thats not for them?then they do another 3 years and so on,before you know it you have lazy 25 year olds with zero experience stuck in a rut.

The man has a point:wink:

Proportionally, not very many at all. Of course there are the odd few who go along just for the ride without any real academic stimulation, but I'd wager that for the vast majority learning is the main criteria for picking a University. Of course they talk about the nights out, socialising etc, but that doesn't mean they're not enjoying their course (what would you rather talk about to non uni goers- how your finding the study of quadratic equations fascinating, or how your attempting to pull the girl in the block below?).

Of course what we should all do instead is go straight into an unqualified job straight from school, give up on improving our intellect and doing a job which we may find boring for the rest of our lives, just to satisfy the posh kids who apparently have more right to a decent education than ourselves.

i pulled him up about his spelling ,not punctuation, and im not the one talking about starting a degree course, he is.

f*** OFF, COCK.

By your reckoning then a spelling test will suffice in awarding degrees?

Your the cock.

So you can call him 'stupid' for his incorrect spelling, but punctuation is completely unimportant?

Oh, and it is "I'm"

You're welcome.

To be perfectly honest, bushy, I agree, and also despair at the general levels of literacy on here, and elsewhere.

My 12 year old would be ashamed of much of it.

My point was more that, if you are going to pull anyone up on this stuff, you should equally expect errors in your own post to be scrutinised by others.

Anyway, that's me done - night all!

Lol dyslexia.

I'm definatly not dyslexic. I'm not going to side step the issue: i've always struggled with spelling.

And you know what? it doesn't bother me. i know what i'm good at and spelling isn't it but i've never lost marks, failed an exam or flunked a subject as a result of it. I'm sorry your erectile dysfunction means you have to be anal over other peoples spelling but thats your loss.

Yes, i'm going to do a degree. NOT IN SPELLING. If i were going to do a degree in english language then fine. but i'm not.

As for loads of debt, i miss these tuition fee changes

Now if you don't mind, i think google awaits you. Search for "viagra near brighton" and buy some. You might well become less anal over spelling on an internet forum.

See, i can resort to petty insults too!

Sadly getting a job from school these days with good prospects is bleak, but i get very pi$$ed off when i see so many students in their mid 20's.Do companys not do the YTS anymore?

Most people hate their job anyway so thats not a big deal:p

well perhaps you should have lost marks or failed an exam for your primary school levels of spelling ability, as for the viagra ? ive never needed it, your mum will vouch for that , she did mention something about your dad having to use it though, perhaps thats where you get the idea from.

I gave up any hopes and expectations surrounding spelling and grammar on the internet a long time ago. People are very lax about it on forums.

Personally, I don't even like text speak; all of my texts are written out in full
