Not even going to bother with this potential argument because I have done it all before. Brief and short,

1. Born into a non footballing family, as a kid, didn't even realise Brighton had a football team.
2. First football player I heard of was David Beckham, he was my idol and I supported the team he played for (United)
3. Few years pass, I realise we have a football team and start following Brighton
4. Many years pass, Brighton are now the team I support, along with always having a passion United.

Dont get me wrong, Brighton v Man Utd i am rooting for Brighton all the way, but ill never stop following united.

Yes a lot, but they have slowly developed themselves - unlike City who have had a rich Arab owner come in and splash loads of cash and in return they want instant success.
