Rhodes scored about 10 penalties - yes I know ulloa missed a couple.
Oh so Leicester and Southampton want him in the Premiership.. I thought NSC thought he was a slow, immobile lump?
Oh well, let the bidding war commence,
6.5 million, snap their hands off, and buy Sam Baldock from Bristol City for about 2 million
Say we did sell for £6m plus, would we have to pay Ulloa his remaining 3 years salary as he's not asked for a move? If that's the case then it's a shit deal for us.
We wont need to pay him anything on his current contract, as soon as he has signed his new contract the old one is effectively void.
Are you sure? The old contract would need to be dissolved prior to signing a new contract would it not? A player cannot sign a new contract without the mutual termination of the current one.
What as I understand as being typical in a player contract, is that if they are being sold without asking to leave, there is normally a settlement figure in the termination clause of the contract that the player will receive - hence why so many players try to engineer moves without directly handing in a transfer request.
Perhaps we can throw in CMS as part of the deal.
Then we can start the season with no strikers, and no keepers.
If we decided to sell Ulloa we'd only have about 10 weeks to sort a replacement before the season starts, calm down FFS...
6.5m? Happy days. The new manager could start the season with a blank team sheet and 10m in the bank!
Whoop whoop!
Do you honestly think we will have 10m to spend ? what usually happens is the new manager will get half of that amount.
