Oscar Garcia is waiting to assess the fitness of numerous players ahead of the Millwall game, including Leonardo Ulloa.

Albion’s top scorer turned his ankle during the 2-0 win over Burnley last week; while Andrea Orlandi (knee), Keith Andrews (hamstring) and Ashley Barnes (knee) all missed last week’s game, and are among the players that the Spaniard will be evaluating ahead of the visit of the Lions.

He said, “Today we will see and we will find out if Leo can play. I hope he feels okay after training and that he will be available to us, but until after practice, we will not know which players will be fit enough to feature.

“This is a worry but are keen for them to recover as soon as possible. It is good we have the international break because in this period we will get some players back who may be fit enough to play in our next game.”Steve Lomas is searching for his first league win as the Lions' manager

I wouldn't risk him to be honest. Agree that it's a chance for young Barker or move Buckley up top.

Will be a chance for Dickenson or Barker to step up to the plate

Even with all of the injuries in the squad, neither made it on to the bench last week. I can't see them being thrown in at the deep end against Millwall.

Ward up top with Chicksen at LB?

All good if he isn't fit enough for a medical elsewhere.

Even with 2 weeks until our next game? We have no choice unfortunately

I almost can't believe what I'm reading. Can we please just get some decent additional strikers into the club - and quickly. This was always going to happen and you don't need to be psychic to know that. FFS.

I think missing tomorrows game would be a game in which we could just afford to have him sidelined, but if we lost him for the big games coming up later in September, we could be scuppered.

Difficulties or not, our attacking options ( or lack of them) should have been managed better in the last month.

He said he was in a little pain after the last game, this seems more a 'he's not in pain now, lets see how he feels after training' thing rather than anything to get overly worked up about just yet.
