Insulting or not.
At the last general election, with the country facing the greatest economic crisis since the Great Depression UKIPs flagship policy was to ban the burqa.

Who is backpeddling..certainly not me...youre the one frothing over something the founder of this party has said. You 'pulled me up', thinking it was something I said. Im sorry if the facts are different.
Did Dr Sked form the party? Yes. Would he know more about UKIP policies than you or me?
Apparently not as much as casual observers on NSC.

'Its extraordinary," Sked told the HuffPost UK, "that at the last general election, with the country facing the greatest economic crisis since the Great Depression, [Ukip's] flagship policy was to ban the burqa."

You're back peddling because YOU posted ( and didn't attribute the so called "fact" to anyone else ) that it was a policy to ban the burqa. I've even re-quoted your post above just so you can see that YOU make the statement. If that statement had been libelous then YOU would be responsible for it. You can't then back peddle by saying "Well I didn't say it, someone else did" when quite clearly to anyone who can read it's in black and white that YOU said it.

I admit, it was an experiment on my part. With the expected results. Certainly no need for
me to 'backpeddle'...people here made up their own conclusions, and it was funny to watch.
You can get down about who attributes what, who does this, who does what.
At the end of the day, that is what the founder of the party has said recently.
Sorry if it doesnt compare well with some NSC attitudes

The Astral Planes, man...
OK, let me float a different question.

If UKIP were to gain %51 or more of the vote at next year's European elections, and given the fact that we are now effectively run from the European parliament, does that mean that UKIP could take us out of the EU without the say of the other parties?

"UKIP's local election manifesto, concentrates on its flagship policy of ending "open door" immigration and putting pressure on the government not to lift restrictions on workers from Bulgaria and Romania on 1 January, which proved a successful formula in Eastleigh."

Again, please address your concerns to Dr Alan Skep, founder of UKIP who has said it.

You said it was UKIP's "flagship policy", clearly it was not their flagship policy. Please supply the evidence that your claim WAS their "flagship policy" (and not something that was just said 15years ago) ..... you know their number one, "flagship policy", the main policy that UKIP were trying to get voters on....i don't think you will be able to.

Who has lied? Ive not lied at all. Ive been deceptive, by not 'attributing' the quote? Maybe...however, yours, and others reaction to the quote were pretty funny.
Parties? Yes, I have a great laugh thanks.

The last third of this thread has been all about you lying, back-pedalling and lying again, but contributing nothing to the discussion. People have been banned for less.

Sked seems quite sad and bitter - and I suppose he has every right to be. He's seen his left-wing baby passed into the hands of a step-father and turned into a right wing youth with a lot more punch. It's only reasonable that he would want to disown it.

Feel free to point out any lies. I repeated what the founder of the party has said. Sorry if that goes against your
ideals.
