I commented on the Dobbie thread only yesterday, plus of course, commenting on NSC about BHA, doesnt make you a 'proper fan' really.
Most Brighton supporters dont, and some have never even heard of it.
So you've commented on Dobbie, and posted on a BHA subject once in your three years here. Well done.

And who said anything "commenting on NSC about BHA, doesnt make you a 'proper fan' really". It's the other way round - this is primarily a BHA discussion board so you'd expect most of those on here to be a 'proper' Brighton fan.

It's that kind of straw man twisting of a logical argument you do over and over again that marks you out as such a tiresome cock.

Its not the only time ive commented on the Albion, dont be ridiculous.

You said...'I'm, not sure Nibble or daveinprague are proper fans either, seeing as I've never seen either contribute to a football discussion on here' ....how am I twisting what you have said?

I've got to say this thread has been BRILLIANT. Firstly I've come across a political position I didn't know existed (a Socialist UKIP supporter), we've had the usual BNP/EDL/Immigrant binfest, we've touched on Keith Waterhouse and now we're discussing who is or isn't a proper Brighton fan.

What was the topic subject again?

Don't forget dipping our toes in the water of respect for the armed forces.

At this rate this thread will just be renamed The All Encompassing Binfest Thread.

What are everyone's thoughts on God and Jesus?

Because in response to this

you said this:

i.e. You are suggesting that because most Albions fans don't use NSC, it means commenting about BHA on here doesn't make you a proper fan. Which is blatantly bollocks.

To clarify, so that simpletons like you can understand:

* Using NSC to talk BHA makes you a fan.
* Most fans do not post on NSC.
* However, you use NSC to spend your time twisting other people's statements to create straw man arguments in the same old tiresome arguments, not to talk about BHA. Therefore you are probably not a proper fan.

:lolol: I'm feeling magnanimous today BF, you're another one I have respect for , even though you are at the totally opposite end of the political spectrum to me , which ultimately makes you wrong, well meaning , but wrong!

But that is a major perception in the UK about them....its easy enough to find articles etc... and whilst that perception is there, until proved incorrect, I would have reservations about placing children with supporters.

An interestingly slant - why should a perception have to be proven as incorrect rather than correct ? Noticeably on this thread, it would appear those accusing UKIP of being BNP in disguise have either misunderstood their manifesto and policies or not bothered to read them at all.

Yes, Simster...If I didnt comment on BHA matters. I would agree.....however, I do comment on BHA matters, so your post is pointless. Thanks for showing me how to REALLY twist an argument.

I have read them, and I am not the only person in the country who has reservations about them. Many do, as reflected in the many articles about them. To deny there is a huge perception concerning this party is a bit weird. Its there, and to gloss it over with 'liberal lies' etc, doesnt do it any favours, certainly not electorally, and until that perception has been removed, they will continue to lose their deposits.
These people want to end ties with Europe, but strengthen ties with the USA. Most of our trade is with the EU, not the USA.

I love a good spa with your good self Bushy. If only for the mental image I have of you in your Chelsea top, shaved head and comedy cartoon steam coming out of your ears (occasionally your head turns into an old fashioned steam whistle thing). I have no doubt you don't look like any of this but is does keep me amused.:lolol:

And for the record I respect your desire to protect the working class culture of the UK I just think you are directing your anger in the wrong direction.

Not the first time that this has been posted on this thread as a fact. I've read their policies and there is nothing that I have seen that suggests this. Care to provide me a link to this statement of fact ?

Westdene...I cant find the link at the moment, but it was along the lines of this from a letter to the Daily Express...

"According to its own website, one of the ten top reasons for leaving the European Union is because of ongoing EU trade disputes with America, and Brussels' reluctance to accept WTO rulings that don't go in its favour".

'One of these trade disputes is the attempt by the United States, through the WTO, to force genetically modified food on unwilling European consumers'

I'd like to know who wrote that letter then as I can find no such thing on the UKIP website. Also, far from forging closer ties with the USA, UKIP want to deal with the inequalities of our extradition treaty with the US - hardly a sign of wanting to be more connected with the US.

Im guessing a political opponent ;-)
The actual point of the thread though, whether they can or cannot foster children etc. My point is, whilst there is a perception that they are closet racists etc....not just the media talking...the British Prime Minister, among others, and the media, then I would err on the side of caution depositing children on supporters of them. To remove them after the fact is ridiculous though, and cant benefit the children. Im more worried about the children being put into possible risk than the risk of a UKIP supporters rights, and sensibilities being put at risk.

Well thats **ridden a coach and horses ** through simster's straw man argument hasn't it ? Providing such irrefutable proof as you "thinking it was a letter to the Daily Express".

If you're so take by perception I'm sure you're more than happy to take the perception that all football fans are violent thugs ? Ask SWEAT or FPC or LDC ! Once people have inbuilt perceptions there's little you can do to challenge those perceptions except ask them for evidence to back them up - like I have you and the best you could come up with is a letter in the Daily Express ( a Tory supporting paper and with the Tories likely to be the biggest losers to UKIP ....... hmmmmmm ).
