Round of 16 - Match SIX

Spicy.

I'm Alan Partridge - 1997-2002, 12 episodes

For me, a stone cold classic. A stronger first series IMO, but both are still top level comedy. The only representation for Alan at this tournament, despite some wonderful moments in Mid Morning Matters and This Time.

Comfortably topped it's group and will be hoping to make a serious dent in the tournament.

Another show I am certain I would like, but have only watched a handful of episodes.

I hope Alan keeps his nose in front, but I know there's a fair bit of love for TTOI.

It's got to be Partridge.

The Thick Of It is quality though. I'll be sad to see it say "Fuckity bye"

Could easily vote for both but will be lending my vote to The Thick of It as they need it more

Only just occurred to me, is Absolutely Fabulous in the draw ?
See the Group Stage round up. (No)

Looking back, 65 shows were nominated at least once. Ab Fab was not one of them.

I'm looking to run a smaller, 16-show US Comedy Cup after this one is over.

Hardest one for me to choose between so far, love them both. Have voted for Malcolm’s lot as I quote it almost daily.

As a peace offering to the Partridge voters I’ve picked a GIF with Rebecca Front.

I don’t find the Thick of It funny since I realised it’s more documentary than satire. The people in Government are bigger shits and more incompetent than the characters from this programme now. It no longer works for me.

Alan all the way.

Dan!

I love both of these, having watched each several times over. Have plumped for IAP, which is simply Peak Partridge.

And yet I never get tired of yelling "stop saying Abingdon to me. I want a f***ing chocolate biscuit" for very little reason.

For me, the winner of this heat is the one I'm following all the way to the final.
