I don’t see how anyone’s made anything up.
has the fairy allowed you knowledge of his CT? it seems he's abandoned ship
who is making these adverts that subvert our children's minds?

Akala calls out derogatory words about women in the video (1st rap) I posted
Akala on the N word

I think the people who are saying this are confusing UK rap with Drill (A genre Im not keen on myself). Like Ive said, UK rappers lyrically are very, very good, and tend not to rap about that sort off thing, some artists even rapping on the foolishness of it, and this is something which the USA has woken up to, and finds appealing.
.....oh, and in the first minute of Akala's rap.... '10 years no daytime radio'
I get a lot of people dont like rap... plenty of music I dont like, I have no idea what is appealing about rock music, dnb, and pop, it just doesnt appeal to me, but some of the reasons ive read here for not liking rap are embarrassing
I already said I have to listen to when I’m in my sister’s car.
So, no, it’s not just wow, is it?

I mean you can check the playlist right now for yourself if you like. Maybe doing the most basic level of research before spouting shit means you won’t need to back-pedal quite as much as you are. It’s right here. If you really, really stretch the definition of Hip-Hop to mean “there’s a black guy in it” then there’s 9 songs there. Realistically there’s 6.

If you’re so desperate to prove that there’s a Now album with a CD that is exclusively Hip-Hop/Grime then feel free to waste your own time searching for it, that way you can keep moving the goalposts to suit you too! It doesn’t exist though.
I think Rap sells everywhere, that’s why rappers go on U.K. tours. Although of course in your weird view of the world that means it’s actually popular in London and then everyone else is brainwashed to like it... or something.
The problem is they aren’t tackling gang culture, they’re tackling music made by people who might not even still be in gangs. In fact they’re closing down a way for young men in improvised areas to make an honest living which could push them back in to gangs. Ah but at least the backtracking continues as what you were happy to call ‘gang warfare’ earlier today is now actually ‘culture’. I haven’t seen someone fail at backtracking this badly since Sidwell scored from 50 yards.
This might be a good thread for a bit of bingo later.

How is the bigo card going?
Well, you've only answered one point out of two. We'll come back to the above in a sec, but, for now, did you or did you not cross check the artist's skin colour against the BBC playlists? If not how do you know what you posted was true?
But, when you are in your sister's car, how long is your average journey, and at what time of day?
Well, if you must know the longest journeys are when I go to the Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead with her, normally in the morning and back in the afternoon. Other days I help her with her shopping once or twice a week, she can’t lift things.
Every once and while I check the Radio 1 playlist to see if anything decent is on there, (for, you know, when I have to listen to it) so I didn’t cross check, it was just obvious.
Shouldn’t this be on the Brexit thread? Oh wait, we already won that. My fault.
Who’s making the adverts? I don’t know, seems a bit strange that they have the same remit though. You would think they would be a lot more diverse like another poster and I agreed earlier.
I already explained myself. There are certain types of music that do push gang culture, but my general point was that I thought it was sad that people feel the need to start talking like them...even though they are not from the same area. Not moving the goalposts at all. Seems like you’ve got annoyed at nothing, maybe need some time outside?
When it comes to the CD, it’s what I heard, maybe it was a different album. I’ll have a look the next time I’m in the car, that ok with you? When I’ve searched for the Now albums, I haven’t been able to find the track lists.
Obvious how?
and we know that London isn’t exactly British these days
I’m actually more excited for this answer than the answer to the Now CD full of Grime conundrum. I might actually make this in to a quiz.
Can we reclaim the thread with some UK hip hop and grime? Even a bit of drill if you want.

Will give it a listen in full tomorrow
Great Idea.
To keep to the local/football theme here is a song by; (IMO) the best rapper the U.K. has ever produced, named after my least favourite ever Brighton player.
One day we’ll get a full Cas album, one day
