Spewing out the same old lefty brainwashed nonsense I've read 100 times before......well done

Why exactly am I brainwashed for recognising the huge number of migrants who, for instance, work in the NHS?

I don't see a huge queue of skilled British workers wanting to take over those jobs. People who actually work in the NHS and have far more knowledge on the subject than both of us have stated that the system would fall apart without staff from abroad?

How is it brainwashed to have seen shows like 'Benefits Britain', and witnessed people who are fit to work but happily sticking two fingers up to the state and all of us who pay taxes and just taking out of the system?

I know which of those two groups makes me more sick (clue, because I think you're a bit slow: it's not the first group).

As it happens, I'm not left-wing at all - I've voted Tory in every election I've been eligible to take part in. I'm just not ignorant enough to assume that all of the problems in this country as the fault of migrants.

I daresay in your haste to defend the migrants that work in the NHS, whilst slating the British, you have taken into account that the cost of training these migrant doctors/nurses etc is down to the poorer countries that they resided in, meanwhile our country is saving on the cost.
Are you bothered that these poorer countries that have shelled out are losing their skilled, are you bothered that our own are not being trained to take the cheaper trained/paid by someone else option...think it through....perhaps we could do both countries a favour by training our own.

you're quite right, alot of problems here stem from the imbalance of the country. except the last point. the problem is that everything was built to last 100 years, and already has done. we forget how old some of our infrastructure is, parts of the underground are over 150 year old, the railways are a few decades older than that. its all stood up very well, except now the demands on alot of it doesnt allow for maintenance windows, and its showing its age.

problem is nowadays people think in very short term, 1-5years tops, and about what impacts ourselfs. if we had a bit of brighter and forsighted politicans and public, we might be able to build out a few new towns, with new infrastructure to boot, without everyone from the regency society to the newt presavation society blocking any development. only 9% of the country is developed and that includes all parks, recreation facilities etc. so increasing all development by 10% would consume 1% of the available land, quite doable if only we had the will.

This, lacking foresight and the ability to see the bigger picture. Over population is a massive issue that no one wants to address.

Yes of course there is , you know, and i know, that the people on here championing immigration, wont have a single one of these immigrants within a 20 mile radius, thats why they're so keen on it, other people will have to deal with it.

Which brings me back to the question I asked you a while ago, and you ignored. You feel as ever that you can lecture AM and others, this time on standards, so where are they put in your house? Do you have a large house? It must be a dreadful squeeze using the bathroom in the morning. Where do you keep the prayer mats?

This is fair way from having one in a 20 mile radius. Don't you think?

For the record I do a little for refugees. Not as much as I should or would like to but a far cry from the nonsense our mate Alfred is spouting.

And there are people who do far more than me.

Seems to be that attitude agree
What you have here is something that has only just begun and something that will change Europe forever.
Two massive factors have started this...
Pointless wars and the unstaberlisin of certain countries
The European Union is undoubtably the biggest issue
The European Union is just one giant magnet bordering all these unstabled countries and we all know and all these migrants know that once they've stepped foot into the EU they're as good as a European and eventually they will get to their destination.Do they want to stop in Greece,Portugal,Italy etc etc.NO they certainly don't as those countries don't have an economy that will give them what they want.
Germany may well take 800,000 Syrians and to be fair Germany has a booming economy and is not that far away compared to us...These Syrians and others will go to the nearest country that can offer them a better life and that will be Germany.Once they've been handed their European Union card they'll be free like millions to move where they want and that includes here and we can't do anything about it.
The one thing we gave to the world was the "ENGLISH LANGUAGE" and this will be a key factor as to where these people may end up.
The European Union is full of self centred cronies who take the tax payers money and disperse it to God knows where...Well Greece is one destination and how many billions have disappeared into that black hole???
They do absolutely nothing to deal with these issues and just take take take....This European Union is the biggest disaster waiting to happen.
Here again you have all these cronies lining their pockets living the high life while immigration soars and the working classes get thrown to the lions in favour of migrant workers and low paid jobs that need government top ups to just get by.
The middle and upper classes are not affected"YET" although in time that will change I'm sure....Its a case of looking after no 1 and this is rife in the government.
Who knows what this country will be like in 20 years, but we can safely say it will be completely different to now that I'm sure of.
Immigration may well be 330k,but let's be honest it will be around 500,000 a year as the illegals will make up the rest and they won't or can't be sent back due to EU laws...we don't even have the staff to deal with them.

In the recent past religion has gone from basically a zero issue to a massive issue here...While the Brits became bored of religion and rightly so we have seen thousands of religious people move here from all walks of life and this is a very challenging issue that could be disastrous in the future.
Many religions have been at war for hundreds or thousands of years....We now have millions of non EU highly religious people flocking to the EU and no doubt these conflicts will follow them in different countries.
Do the Syrian or other countries men really desert their country and leave the woman and children behind?
Just a case of them getting to a country and then bringing the woman and children over possibly?

I've noticed an abundance of young super lefty types who you see at certain marches and most have barely lived to have an input into modern day Britain...These are the history types who study books from the past and then demonise their own country and in a way become anti British because of what we did hundreds of years ago.I would like to think you should have lived a bit to understand certain things in life and these types really do your head in.
Immigration is good and it always will be,but there's immigration and there's mass immigration...This country is wonderful and we built this wonderful land and we should be protecting it and not changing it.Change is good but not in a sense where at times you think you're in Bangladesh or Warsaw etc.
Integration will never happen now as its to late and soon we will see similar to now but in a much bigger scale and this will happen throughout Europe...The world is changing in a way you thought it never could and it's very sad that there's nothing you can do about it.
We have 40,000 British nurses on the waiting list who have been dumped in favour of foreign nurses...The list is endless and the British people don't get a say in anything and we're becoming to accepting to anything and to scared to say anything incase we're demonised.
It maybe just a few million non EU's now,but soon it'll be 10 million and so on....Many of you super lefties will moan like shite in 10 years time I'm sure of that. You might be comfortable and not affected yet,but the lower classes and youngsters are the ones that get kicked in the balls by mass immigration.

The world has become a financial disaster zone where cronies all over the world are lining their pockets and looking after themselves and these are the twats who're being paid by us tax payers to look after their people and have their peoples best interest at heart.
Do they give a shit fack NO.They don't care if you earn £6 hr or have a family to feed
Do they care if you have 30 immigrants in a two bedroom house
They don't care if your town or city is swamped by immigrants that have completely transformed communities throughout.
They don't even build houses, hospitals and schools....where's the tax money going?
More people more tax...none of the ABOVE???

I really hate the European Union and all the twats that run it...It will destroy everything special about Europe forever.

neo liberal has become to mean a general term to cover the promotion of classical economics.
It has had other names neoclassic economics, monetarism etc.A rose is a rose by any other name.
I would characterise it as a faith. It has its gospels Adam Smith,Ricardo. It appeals to invisible hands.
Despite the evidence it claims a benevolent omnipotent market.
Give me the post war settlement over neo liberal any day of the week.
Full employment, growing equality, growing social mobility.wage rises in line with GDP rises,
the establishment of a welfare state ,progressive taxation.

the message is.
1 Xenophobia ,the fear of others ,is a negative human trait
2 The EU free movement of labour undermines labours pay, conditions and security.
! and 2 are not mutually exclusive..

The only thing I do think, actually, is what as silly statement that was. The point about the 20 mile radius was using an exaggeration to make a valid point, as you well know. Yes, you might do " a little" as I suspect many do when it comes to meeting fellow human beings, say in the street, when they ask for directions/help etc. AM was not spouting nonsense at all - he was making a very valid point in that those defending mass immigration will not even be doing "a little" - just assuming that someone else will somehow do something. Have you ever read a comment here about how part of a home has been donated? Or some such altruistic action?

Of course the 20 mile radius was an exaggeration. As was your nonsense about, sharing your house and where to put the prayer mats. The fact is that there is a whole spectrum in between yours and AMs exaggerations.

If you deal in such extremities and exaggerations then you will surely miss the majority of stuff that is going on between

Although as a matter of fact many people do offer their homes to refugees. I knew many farmers where I used to live who offered up a place to stay and food in return for help on the farm.

Just because you and AM would not consider doing such a thing doesn't mean others don't.

As I say don't judge everyone by your standards.

Perhaps you should not judge what is happening in England from a country 15000 miles away. What ever the differences of opinions re "UK net migration hits record high" the outcome and consequences will not affect you.
