There is ZERO chance that we spend six years nurturing Sanchez, managing his loans to Rochdale, etc....then, just as he starts to come good, we sell him. We MAY sell him, of course, in the future, once he's played 100+ games in the EPL and represented Spain, but selling him this summer would be bizarre. It's not happening!
Should he continue his fine form over the next 7 games it wouldn’t surprise me at all, if we received at the very least an enquiry for him and possibly a bid to test the water. Clubs here and in Europe may feel better to sign him this early for £20+m than a year later for £30+m.
Would the board be tempted to sell him should such a bid be received this summer?
