Just reading about that Ferguson. Sounds incredible!

Played for Bohemians Vs a strong Chelsea in a pre season friendly at 14 !!! And nearly scored.

Two beautifully crafted goals, worked by Furlong and Moran.

And an absolutely top drawer save from McGill from the late deflected cross.

Played lads.

A thoroughly enjoyable watch and to see them play with such confidence on the ball only bodes well for the first team of the future. I also love the fact that mistakes happen and they just get on with it, the team spirit seems really good. Watching these types of games is quite refreshing from the insane juggernaut that is the EPL.

Interesting to compare Evan Ferguson and Zak Emmerson. Physicality will be a key component of their development, one that Ferguson has a slight advantage with at this moment in time. Both very exciting prospects but I think Lorent Tolaj looks more likely to firstly break through into the first team squad. Exciting times indeed.

Very enjoyable viewing.
The 2nd goal was a thing of beauty, lovely flowing passes, cross field ball, superb pin point cross and a delightful header.
Really impressed by Leonard, Macgill,Tsongui, Furlong and Moran all look promising too.
The futures bright.

And there was a move in the first half even better, if the lad had looked up his partner would have had a tap in

Wouldn’t mind seeing Moran, Tsoungi & Leonard all play a part against Cardiff next week.

Lorent Tolaj and Cameron Peupion as well. Both looked very good last night and have something about them that merits a sterner test of character. Why not?

If Moran, Tsongui, Leonard, Tolaj and Peupion, ALL play against Mick McCarthy's team of Championship hardened giants, we'll get absolutely smashed to ****.

True. It's getting to be a difficult balancing job now - a lot of that team look well ready for a loan to League 1 or 2, but we still need to keep the U23s reasonably competitive to stay in the 1st. division of PL2.
It will be interesting to see how they go in that cup competition where U23 (or is it U21?) teams from PL2 compete with League 1 and 2 teams. Never been won by a youth team yet, I don't think - it would be smashing to be the first if we could! Hope the games are streamed.

Harrison Foulkes. He is making his debut for Derby. Born in Eastbourne and attended Seaford Head School (previously in the academy at West Ham and then with AFC Wimbledon before doing his scholarship with Hull City).

Woman at work knows the family. He’s signed a one year contract at Derby. Was let go at Wimbledon as he wasn’t tall enough. They’ve not met Mat Ryan then!

Foulkes signed for Eastbourne Borough today.
