It’d be interesting to see if Ugochukwu was ever a target as that didn’t seem to be mentioned anywhere before Chelsea signed him. Maybe he was. As for Adams, who knows? Again, if we were that keen on him, I’m surprised we didn’t make some effort to get him in early with Caicedo’s departure flagged up since the end of last season.
