Don't watch it myself but surely Heartbeat and all the various spin-offs have long since reached their sell-by date. It's been the Sixties there for about fifteen years.

Thinking about it, Sunday evening TV appears to have a number of candidates for the chop.

Sorry to say this but......

.....Top...... Gear

they seem to be running out of ideas I'm afraid... it needs a mega overhaul.. it just feels a bit stale, like it's stayed exactly the same for a few too many years...

Top Gear has been utter gash for at least 2 series - even my 10 year old nephew has grown tired of it.

Have you ever been to North Yorkshire, Heartbeat is pretty much science fiction when compared to the reality of that part of the country!

Again very succesful in terms of overseas sales, the magazine etc. Although it must be difficult to keep coming up with new stunts.

...and leaving you wondering "who on earth is still watching this?!"

I'll start with the somehow-still-commissioned:

The Weakest Link.

Seriously? Who still sets the Sky+ for this one?

No one is taken in by Anne Robinson's RUBBISH put downs anymore, the prize money is LAUGHABLE considering the amount of tension they try to generate, so how is this still on?

More examples please.

We must be the same person because whenever I see The Weakest Stink in the TV listings I always think exactly that - the definitive 'had it's day' programme. In related trivia, the person who invented the format for the show has Brighton links and made a tidy sum from selling the rights to the BBC.

Scrubs should have ended at Season 6. Just about to start season 9 without half the characters :nono:

Mitchell and Webb is starting to tire and Prison Break has gone one season to far. I may just be getting old but TV these days is just an ocean of shit. The only thing I watch now is the Wire and thats on at f***ing midnight on BBC 2
