There are plenty of smart, well educated, considerate people who live in Littlehampton( including me! )

If that's the case why wasn't the baby Jesus born in Littlehampton?

Well, he did provide a good economy, the best for decades. The only thing that brought it down was a pandemic and a government shutdown.

What would be even more baffling is a well-educated, smart person voting for someone who is obviously suffering from the early onset of dementia.

You mean the economy, that was tracking at the same rate of improvement from the last two years of Obama? The economy that was based upon improvements in the stock markets, that only around 50% of Americans actually own, and was built on sand due to being artificially inflated from dividends and share buybacks which fueled gains in the market? And you're going to ignore the fact that his incompetent handling of Covid 19, is directly responsible for the high unemployment we now see?

Also, I don't think disparaging Biden's mental acumen is a good idea, when Trump is your champion.

I rest my case.
Not even remotely clever(or funny)

True, although in it's defence that joke has been doing the rounds for the last 2020, or so, years.

Did they pay on time? High jinx like Man About The House?

Now you're being silly.

We had a points based entry system back then so no swarthy or homeless benefit scrounging types would have been allowed in. They'd have been sent back from whence they came and no mistake.

Interesting angle, given that it looks very much like Trump has early onset dementia; but very typical of Trump’s press team to accuse everyone else of exactly what Trump is accused of. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery and all that. Also, he’s surrounded by idiots so that’s the best they have..... Return the bullet.

They're people on this thread who would vote for a man who refuses to disavow and condemn white supremacist groups. Let that sink in for a second.

He has given America its best economy for 50 years,

He has given America record low unemployment.

He has removed a whole raft of anti business legislation.

As for taxes, he has paid them. Nobody has seen his actual tax return.

I just heard all that from a republican spokeswoman on the radio.

Trump will walk this election.

Sadly.

He won't.

He'll drop a few swing states he picked up last time around without a doubt.

My little world has turned upside down.....

Only saw a few bits of the debate. Had to turn it off.

I just hope the US runs despite these clowns and not because of them. I know the UK does.

There are people on this thread who would vote for a man who supported the IRA who murdered innocent British citizens. Let that sink in for a second.
