True, but that campaign money is going to have to be spread a lot more thinly than they'd have been hoping now that states like Texas and Ohio are unexpectedly in play. Also they can't really go after Biden's greatest asset in this election, which is that he isn't Donald Trump.

Trump's biggest asset was not being a Clinton. I suspect whatever the Trump campaign has on Biden they will keep tight to their chest until the month before the election. Trump knows the only poll that matters is Nov 3.

It'll be something to do with Biden's 'touchy-feely'-ness; you heard it here first.

Whether it'll be bad enough to derail his campaign, only time will tell. But it could be, meaning Trump could get back in. God preserve us.

Doubt it. The reason Trump has remained so quiet is that he has had similar acquisitions made about himself.

Looks to me like an unspoken truce.

If anyone is put off from voting for Biden by any alleged touchy feelynes, then they're unlikely to flip to Mr Grab 'em by the Pussy. If anything, the Trump campaign will go after Biden's age, which is why a strong running mate is very important.

The Trump campaign would have a reasonable chance of clawing back the moderates if they were able to censor Trump and keep him on script. But Donald thinks he knows best and will likely continue to unwittingly do all the Dems campaigning for them.

If that was so then why the call to Zelenskiy on July 25th 2019 , transcript freely available ?

What goes behind the scenes (and subsequently released) is different from what the statement I was responding to.

It would be very dangerous for Trump to use allegations against Biden in his election campaign because Trump has a much longer list of allegation against him.

Looks as if the Biden camp are thinking about having Amy Klobuchar as his running mate. I think that would be a good choice, I thought she came over very well in the TV debates and would have liked to have seen her get the nomination.

This. Here’s Trump talking to and about infant girls in 1992.

Not to mention the many sexual assault accusations.

Here's hoping.

Good article by former Republican Steve Schmidt

COVID-19 is raging across America. We have failed to contain it. Trumps selfishness, vanity and weakness have become lethal. Because of Trump, America is suffering mass death and economic catastrophe. He has triggered a national movement of idiocy and imbecility. He has created America’s first true mass cult of personality. 35 % of the country has subordinated their agency, common sense and self interest to a conman who not only doesn’t care about them but has an active and seething contempt towards them.

Fueled by Trumps example and bombarded For years with lies, propaganda, conspiracy theories and a ceaseless stream of malice towards minorities, scientists, experts, facts, data, truth and reality a type of collective insanity has taken hold in a dangerously large percentage of the population. They are connected and aggrieved. For many of them the world is a tangle of insidious connections that form a grand conspiracy between the Clinton Foundation, Soros and a vast “deep state”. They fear 5G and vaccines. They are immune to any appeal about the common good or National unity.

Many of them look at their fellow Americans as enemies. Some of them wear Hawaiian shirts and are heavily armed in preparation for the next Civil War. They have been present on the periphery of peaceful protests and have stormed state Capitols. Trump calls them good people. These people have followed Trump off the proverbial cliff. They have loosed catastrophe on the country because they refused to wear a mask. The worst case scenario is going to come true in the richest and most powerful country in the world. We are in a precipitous decline.

Four more years of Trump will destroy the rule of law in this country and transform our democracy into something we would have all once risen to oppose. We are at an hour of choosing. It is America or Trump. This is a life and death choice. Make no mistake about it.
