Love this thread. Watch Trump get re-elected in November comfortably :lolol:

It's not impossible of course. These are unpredictable times. But something will have to change in a very big way - at the moment it's only heading in one direction: https://edition.cnn.com/2020/07/19/...nald-trump-suburban-voters-polling/index.html

If Biden wins and the Trump mess finally and fully implodes, as it will, it's going to leave those in the UK that staked so much on a cosy relationship with Trump in trouble. And at the very least looking very, very silly.

I don't think many people in here are doubting that could happen – many of us think it WILL happen

It doesn't change who he is and what he says/does (or doesn't do).

Eh?

I just picked, at random, one of very many reports indicating the range of polling figures showing an increasing swing away from Trump.
Could have been fox news, or could have been pretty much any independent polling organization.

I don't 'believe CNN'. I believe facts. And whatever the news outlet, the FACTS say polls look bad for Trump at this point.

The question comes down to whether people really care about how he behaves, or not. Whether they're concerned about their fellow citizens, or not. Whether they think his amateurish tantrums about the many ridiculous things he's said and done matter, or not.

America being America, it's very likely there will be plenty who vote for him but with a bit of luck the people who didn't vote for Clinton will realise that this election is about the Supreme Court, especially with Ruth Bader Ginsberg's cancers. In reality, the election isn't just about the president. It's about the direction the country will take in the next 4 years. Clearly, there needs to be better turnout in this election and the better the turnout, the less likely it is Trump and the Republican party will thrive. It's imperative that Biden wins the presidency, and they have the majority in the House and the Senate.

If he does then wait for the Putin like extension of the 'only 2 terms' to as many as he wants. Complete scumbags cut from the same cloth.

At least now we know why Trump had to send crack troops to Portland.

"When a protesting female with her legs spreadeagled refuses to move when asked nicely, simply grab em by the pussy and move them on" - That's what Trump meant, but once again poor Trumpy was taken out of context by the MSM and their phony hoax LIES! #lonewarrior #grabembythepussy #maga

thats quite unfair on Putin, a far more competant leader even if we dont like how he does things. Trump wont have the opportunity to extend power, even his own side wouldnt change the constitution to allow it.

Cognitive tests are very difficult except for him. They are easy for him. He either used mnemonics or an autocue.
Person (white supremacist or me)
Woman (grab their pussies)
Man (myself)
Camera (got the film of Putin’s girls pissing on me)
TV (what I watch all day in the White House).

GENIUS!

Democratic cities. It's all part of the "law and order" re-election playbook that he's grasping at. It is, however, somewhat undermined by his insistence on making sure "law and order" doesn't apply to any of his buddies.

Will be interesting how this plays out to his base, they are inherently about snall govt and don't approve of federal involvement over the rights of states. Even Fox are starting to wane on him.

If sufficent care is taken to have only the right heads cracked, they'll think it's grand. (This is why the Wall of Moms is so problematic for the forces of order. Those aren't the right heads....)

'States' rights' were always and everywhere the right of states to mistreat certain people - originally own certain people -- free from central government interference.

If the phrase had any intellectually consistent content it would protect things like individual states or groups of states having their own, stricter environmental standards.
