I am sorry, and I am not trying to upset you, but yes there is an element of physical engagement when the instruments of the state have to regain control of violent disorder. That physical engagement, of course, has to be legal, disciplned and not abused. But I am not sure what other way there is?

The current violent disorder was created because of the violent disorder of police officers murdering another black man.

To stop such violent disorder you have to go to the root of the problem and that is that black men are being murdered by white police officers. Had the authorities acted swiftly and arrested the officers involved in the killing I believe that the violent reaction would have been significantly mitigated and might not have happened at all. Ditto if this was a "one-off".

The US police is "institutionally racist" of that there can be no doubt. Trump can't condemn violent white police officers killing blacks because it will cost him heaps of votes in the Southern "bible bashing" states who still can't get their warped and feeble minds around the abolition of slavery.

I can't disagree with your analysis of the causes and the situation. However, the point remains that order does have to be restored (unless anyone diagrees?), and I am not sure how I feel about being compared to a Nazi by Deportivo Seagull for making that point.

So you think he supports peaceful protests, like the placard waving lockdown white folk.
I wonder what Colin Kaepernick would have to say about that?
Sorry, but Trump is a racist hypocrite, pure and simple.

Are you the Yang to Tyrone Biggums ' Yin ? Only asking like.... there's a bloke not a few miles from you who had the polar opposite view of The Donald.

I didn’t compare you to a Nazi, I said your post came across as something that Goebles would have written. I further went on a said that I didn’t believe that was your intention . You reaction would suggest that was the case which is a good thing.

Trump panders to the very worse in people .....

The problem is, Trump's supporters aren't necessarily the kind of people to stop and think about the level of engagement before shooting some round into the ceiling, or in this case, a chest cavity. There are no shades of grey for them....there isn't even black or white, as we know which one they prefer.

The police in America are now so brazen they will arrest a black CNN reporter live on television. It really is ****ed.

Edit: For no reason.

He sure knows how to rack up the likes and retweets.

Why do I have visions of him saying this in an exasperated tone while shaking his fist?

All he can do is declare martial law and send in the troops. That would be a very drastic step, although the Tweet suggests he's prepared to take it.

Yeah, because Trumpo is known for doing what he says/tweets :lolol:

Sadly this sort of thing happens, and will happen more often the way gun sales are going in the US. The cop stops someone with his gun drawn because he thinks it's highly likely the person he is stopping may well have a gun too ! At risk of slipping straight back in to that old familiar groove, guns kill people, more guns, the more chance of something going wrong and someone dying. But, in the US, it won't change.

I saw a city cop (metska policie) slap somebody in a wheel chair in the metro here. Was going to intervene but an elderly Czech saw it as well and let rip at the cop, whilst calling state police. Not sure what she said entirely but the cop was looking very humble. Bless her, she was volcanically angry.

I am not on Twitter but News24 was showing a few this afternoon and one was something like "when the looting starts the shooting starts" and i don't think that Trump means that the looter's will be doing the shooting ?
