If Comey truly believed Trump effectively wanted him to drop Flynn investigation, that's not what he wrote in his notes; and if he believed this he also didn't resign over it.

Trump hasn't lied. He fired someone who couldn't be trusted. There was nothing in the memos that Comey couldn't remember in his head. He was being really anal about trying to catch Trump out on any little detail just in case he got fired.
Why would Trump trust someone who doesn't trust him. Comey was the spy in the room.

The Director of the FBI is not a political position and the job doesn't involve sitting in the room with the president. And people make a written record for obvious reasons, even if they can remember everything. You sound desperate.
I was wondering that as well, although we have had a bit of a track record for such things on here - there was a guy who used to pop up whenever there was the merest mention of 9/11 to tell us all how it was faked etc...
