on his way out at Leeds. Grayson says development expected within the next few days and no fee will be involved in his transfer.

He was signed at Leeds by Wise/Poyet but has fallen out of favour big time. Lua Lua's cousin.

Not sure he would be my choice and he is reportedly on a "big contract" but.........?

It is entirely possible too. Would he want to come to us though?

May be a 2+2=5 moment I admit but was trawling through Footymad on Twitter and came across this when reading an article about Niall Ranger maybe going on loan from Newcastle to Leeds:_

Tresor Kandol's career with Leeds United appears to be drawing to an end after Simon Grayson hinted that the striker may soon be on his way out of Elland Road.

Kandol's name was absent from the list of squad numbers published by Leeds yesterday, despite the club confirming that he is still their player, and he looks set to cut his ties with Leeds imminently.

The 28-year-old has 12 months remaining on the substantial four-year contract handed to him by former manager Dennis Wise in 2007, but present boss Grayson told Kandol at the end of last season that he was surplus to requirements and free to look for a new club.

United did not intend to demand a fee for a forward who had precious little involvement with their first-team last season and missed a total of seven matches through two different suspensions for violent conduct.

Asked about Kandol's future, Grayson said: "He's still here but there might be more news on that in the next couple of days."

His last two loan moves were to Millwall (successful) and Charlton (not so good) so a move within League 1 level seems about right. His style doesn't seem entirely "Gus-like" and his disciplinary and fitness record is far from brilliant but as a foil to either Murray or Barnes in a 2-man front line he may be someone we would look at? It might fit in with someone we "had spoken to but hasn't got back to us" as reported in the LuaLua loan thread? Might also fit in a suggestion that I seem to recall by Gus that someone he was looking at "might be a risk"
