Dumb question here, but do you actually have to have a car to use a P&R? I live about 5 minutes walk from the racecourse, so if they do do one from there, I'll walk to it.

I'd actually like to see the mass walk into town becoming the norm after the game a la Barcelona. Very few people seem to bother with public transport to get them back into town there.

Imagine not, at the moment does seem anyone can walk up one of the buses hand in the ticket (or not if you are collecting from ground) and jump on. No check on who owns what car or anything

No you don't.

I used to walk to the Mithras House site sometimes.

People don't walk in to town from Withdean and leave early so that they can get the bus and get in for their dinner on time, so I doubt that will happen from Falmer! I will ocasionnally walk though I expect.

I do :bigwave:. It is a MASSIVE 1 1/2 mile, 25 minute TREK though, obviously far too much for most people.

Train I imagine. It depends though, I've not seen what/if plans there are for special trains, buses, changes to current routes etc so it's difficult to say at the moment.

Probably train from London Road Station, failing that i'll go from Brighton

or if I feel like a change I'll get a bus

Car - should be able to park in somewhere on a verge or something - will make sure i get a good old fashioned banger for £50 and if it gets clamped or towed away i'll have lost nothing just remeber not to register it in my name.

Nearly forgot will also decortae it with Albion stickers etc.

A questionnaire is being sent out to people who are thinking of buying a season ticket, inviting us to let the Club know what means of transport they anticipate using.

So why post an exact same poll on here?

Oh yeah, because NSC is the TRUE voice of Albion fans. :jester:

Train for me. For both weekend and weekday games.

First choice is train but it depends how good that is, if it turns out to be a nightmare then I'll look at doing something different.

I've said it on every one of these threads but coaches will be the key to getting people away quickly, run a decent coach service to major sussex towns and I'm sure people will use it.

Bus , hopefully B&H buses will purchase some more second hand bendys now being offloaded cheaply in the capital. I know they will be buying 18 brand new double deckers in 2011 so possibly they could keep the ageing double deckers they are supposed to be replacing as reserve vehicles for football specials/school buses.
