You have bought a striker for £6m leaving you £19m. The striker had a probable rating of 3 which turnewd out to be 5! A very good buy as your attack goes up by 5.

See I am as good as if not better the main man himself ;) :lolol:

Liverpool buy please

Right - here goes.

Coventry pay a whopping £600000 for a striker of rating 2 leaving them £2.2 million. His rating of 2 turns out to be 3 so slightly better value.

Ipswich pay a massive £1.7 million for a striker of rating 6 leaving them just £500000 in the bank. This rating is accurate so 6 added to attack rating. Ipswich now have the best attack in the division but not much money left.

Gillingham cannot buy as they don't have enough money for this player.

Sheffield Wednesday buy a defender for £60000 leaving them £120000. His rating of 3 turns out to be 4 so a good buy. 4 added to defence rating.

Arsenal pay £4 million for a defender leaving them £31 million. His rating of 2 turns out to be correct so 2 added to Arsenals already mighty defence rating.

Liverpool pay a cut price £3 million for a defender of rating 3 leaving them £26 million. His rating turns out to be 4 so he is an even bigger bargain. 4 points added to defence.

Millwall buy a striker of value 5 for £800000 leaving them £700000. His rating turns out to be correct so 5 added to attack.

Colchester splash out £60000 leaving the £60000. Their defender of rating 3 turns out to be 4 so defence goes up by 4.

Finally, Bournemouth cannot buy as they don't have enough money for this player. No overdrafts and receivers in this game!

For information, as a rule of thumb, an average price for a player is about 1.6 times his rating. So a player of rating 3 would have an average price of 5 money units (£5 million in the Prem, £500000 in Championship and £50000 in League 1). This can go to a maximum of 5 times the players rating if you are unlucky enough to throw a double 6. The player of rating 3 would then cost 15 money units and would be far from good value.

Hope this makes sense.
