sorry but that rainbow of mine track is bullshit, whereas this on the other hand is more like it. Progressive Trance (Dance Music at its finest) by Dj Atlantis- Return to atlantis tied in with Rank 1- Airwave

for what is worth, "progressive" by definition is music that is taking the genre in a new direction or for want of a better word, a bit anoraky. Trance is so formulaic i dont see how any of it is "progressive" and the track while pretty good is hardly breaking any ground, it rips off an old house track for a start.

Tiesto of today is barely worth mentioning. Current album is terrible, man basically produces mass-market chav ringtones of late.

I completely agree about tiesto of today, but the fact theres no mention of tiesto from yester-year, his earlier works were IMMENSE, see suburban train, traffic and his probably most famous mix of adagio for strings.

I rarely listen to even these greats now, but im surprised at the fact he has not been mentioned.

yes Ferry Corsten and the like were less mainstream, Corsten was probably my favorite of the early '00s.
