Two people I respect but I don't really buy into it either. Even statistically there is always an outlier.

Thanks for the respect fam!

I've been in a really good mood all afternon. . . . Won £50, finished painting mu crittal doors to the man cave, and now I'm off to the pub to drink beer and play guitar whilst getting paid. About as good as a Saturday gets.

Where did this 5% stat come from? It’s bollocks imo

The manager takes the blame for bad lacklustre performances, other than Burnley (who were very good on the day)I am struggling to think of one performance that was rank, disappointing, frustrating yes but it was not for lack of effort and as a Brighton fan that is all I demand along with tactics that aren’t everyone behind the ball and hope for a lucky breakaway

The dullard was discussing it on his podcast with some **** who wrote a book called soccernomics.

What nonsense?

Can you show me a recent "Potter Out" post I made? I was, and remain, unimpressed with his home record and no one in their right mind would argue six defeats in seven with one goal is good. I give him full credit for turning that around though. If you're going to give him a hard time when we're losing it's only fair to credit him when we win.

What I'm not having is that coaches only influence about 5% of the result unless they're Sean Dyche in which case it's more like 20% or Potter when we win in which case it's suddenly jumped to 60%. Either coaches carry the can for results good and bad or they don't.

The people we like are responsible for the good things and the people we don't like are responsible for the bad things

"We started very slowly and in this type of game you have to move the ball more quickly. Maybe the weather... I want to find an excuse, but it was not a good game for us."

That is a little unfair. He said that in his post match interview and with a smile on his face. Said several times it was a very tactical battle which was implicit praise for Potter. Certainly didn’t throw his toys out of his pram like Tuchel this season and Guiardola last.

Very much this.

We are a fantastic side, forget the poor patch, because at no time have players not been trying.

They play for the manager and he makes sure we are a committed squad that are quality on the ball.

Maybe the nut jobs that seriously thought Potter had to go, might understand how good we are and we are still in a development stage.

I love everything about potter and the team he has around him.

If and when we lose him, will be the saddest day of my BHA history and that stretches 49 years.

#trustinpotter

I struggle to think of a poster that I am more politically opposed to than Mouldy, yet when he posts this about the team I could not agree more. Absolutely spot on and you echo my opinion of the current team. That is the beauty of this site there is room for us all and we all support the team. Great performance, great result, this is a good day and we should all enjoy it.

Not forgetting Spuds should've played with 10 men for 60 odd minutes. Every pundit called it as a straight red and queried why VAR never got involved. I wonder what would've happened if it was the other way round

Post in The Fighting Cock at ten past two:
“Lamptey is so much better than Royal”
This reply a minute later:
“A lamppost is so much better than Royal”

Commentator said “Royal” is actually a nickname, but equally thought Mwepu also hailed from Mali?!

At the final whistle he went straight to Potter saying ‘Bravo, bravo’. He seemed quite magnanimous in defeat. In contrast to his players he didn’t seem to harass the officials either.
