Edit: I see Offiah played the full 90 minutes yesterday - will be very surprised if he comes on today then.

Potter must rate Offiah very highly indeed, injury might force Potter’s hand. He and Webster are the only defenders on the bench.

Personally, I think he could be a very good back-up for Lamptey. At double the size, he still has good pace but won’t be as easy to constantly foul as Lamptey is.

Maybe we should have a thread of Potter's best selections ? I'm sure I remember him starting five centre backs Veltman, Webster, Dunk, Duffy, Burn, all three strikers Maupay, Welbeck, Connolly on another occasion and with six midfielders today. I'm pretty sure we got something out the other two games, so here's hoping:albion2:
