Queuing up in the abomination of white hart lane station (how can people criticise Falmer?) and all I can say is that was utter ****. Defensive disaster. Would confidently say if we’d still had Burn lining up with Veltman we wouldn’t have let in 3 goals today.

Poor game by our standards.
March was probably the worst player on the pitch, Maupay was right up there though.
Just so pedestrian, no pace whatsoever and all too happy to pass back because there's no movement going forward.
The ref was as bad as I've seen and I ****ing hate Kane.
Great goal from Biss, shame we practically gifted them the win.
Time to concentrate on the league.

Me too. He's often too cool, slow to get rid, and has questionable judgement and positioning...apart from that he's fine. Today was a reality check I think.

Felt he looked totally lost for their third and shouldn’t have been on his feet.

Appreciate it’s a mistake but has been happening more frequently, hopefully a blip

Kane scored a belter.
A freak goal.
A pinball goal after Som was brilliant.

I think bissouma’s shot was actually going in.

Very hard to come back from 2-0 bs conte. Parked the bus and broke very fast. Shame we gifted them the first goal but we always run the risk and it rarely happens. Just annoying as one of my best mates is a spurs fan and he is giving me shit. Bissouma is just so effing good. Enjoy him the last few games we have him. He will be one of the best in the world with better players around him

Not our best performance but we were up against another Premiership side and good to get a poor team performance out the way. Dunk got 90mins, Caicedo & Ferguson got game time and Biss is back, onto Watford for 3 points

We were bitty tonight, bits were good, bits were bad and some verging on shambolic comedy. Bissouma grew and grew and was imperious, we missed Tross and March looked absolutely devoid of confidence... Nothing worked for poor Neil, he knew it too... one of those nights... but we all know he’s better than that... thankfully. They showed glimpses of genuine world class quality, two to be precise, we showed too many glimpses of rustiness and a catching lack of cohesion, which alas - loaded the dice.

We weren’t that bad, a tad unfortunate here, a tad unlucky there... that’s the nature of the beast. More intensity required and a shape that’s suited to the personnel on the field wouldn’t go amiss either.

Some sloppy defending but as disappointing as it is to go out the cup it's hard to be that annoyed- we caught Spurs on a good day for them. Not totally convinced we'd have won if we played much better. Shit happens.

Are Tottenham playing in Scotland now? Or with a different shaped ball?

Or are they still in the Premier League?

Sloppy defensive mistakes & not taking our clear chances means it was always going to be a poor night. Things just didn’t really click for us. Oh well.

Just got in, that’s just about a perfect summary.

My Spurs STH mate has just messaged me saying Biss is worth at least £50m.

And we still need a decent striker ….

As much as I entirely agree with you, I have decided not to get annoyed about our poor quality strike force until at least six games into next season. If we are still lacking then I will be ‘kin’ annoyed.

I know Solly March can play well because I’ve seen him do it. But today was one of those performances that frustrate the hell out of you. There are undiscovered tribes in the depths of the Amazon jungle who have never seen football, and yet I’ll bet every one of their members knew exactly what Solly was going to do every time he was in possession - think about going past the fullback on the outside, decide against it, cut back inside, realise he isn’t confident enough in his right foot to cross with it, and then pass back to Cucurella.
