I think my initial reaction is - so what? All that effort and we let score with a shot from distance. How much did we really trouble their keeper? Part of me thinks the one point we got was more than we deserved over the last two games.

Not looking forward to Saturday. All the talk of looking at it as the winnable one and the starting of Locadia, AJ and Andone, saving Murray for Saturday, it just puts me in mind of all the times football messes with you - viewing one of a run of games as more winnable and selecting the teams accordingly leading to you losing that more winnable game.
I couldn't be looking forward to Saturday more! Bring it on

Did anyone else think Andone looked pissed off when he was walking off? Didn't even acknowledge Hughton by the looks off things.
And what did AJ say to Hughton when he came off the pitch?

something is wrong there. Hughton never looked at him. No pat or handshake.

So close and so disappointing. We rode our luck, but it was a very good performance. Why could we not show such resilience and determination against the lesser teams?!

Seeing it again, it’s 25/28 yards out, Kayal closes down well enough really, that’s just a rocket.

Yes he was pissed off. Not bad having players who don't want to be subbed off. Personally I thought it was the wrong decision, as I thought he was a better outlet for us with our backs to the wall, but I guess that hadn't been working shortly before the sub.

Kayal and Stephens might have done better - but you can rarely get those deep defensive tactics right for the whole game. That’s why I hate them I’m afraid and why I don’t like my team has become the league specialist in them

I love my Albion. Brilliant tonight on a free swing. Bring on the toon. With the same three starting up front. Maybe start with Kayal. Otherwise no change. We can do this.

Both VERY odd. CH didn't acknowledge Andone either.
Ali cracked a joke with him. Don't think i've seen that before...

I know its not professional of Andone but if our midfield could have found his feet in the second half it was far better off keeping him on than putting Murray on.

Yes he's much better than Murray in gameplans like that (for counters) but I guess the thinking is that he was on a yellow (although he did calm down in the second half) + we needed to slow the game down so we used a sub
