I know it's tempting fate, but there are quite a few permutations where the loss of that point won't matter. The point at Wolves was absolutely critical, as it means Cardiff MUST get 4 points from their last three games to overtake us. I admit that a point tonight would have been huge psychologically, but it may not be that important mathematically. On the other hand, a 5-0 defeat would have been a nightmare from a mathematical perspective, as it would have opened up the real prospect of our goal difference advantage over Cardiff being whittled away. I will probably live to regret these words...

So close and so disappointing. We rode our luck, but it was a very good performance. Why could we not show such resilience and determination against the lesser teams?!

Because CH abandoned his proven principles of deep and mass defence, by changing tactics so that our FB’s and CM’ers were pushed upfield. Enabling Bmuff, Stains, Burnley and even FFS Cardiff to pick us off. Overloading poor old Dunk and Duffy.

Still not sure 6 changes was warranted. Saturday is HUGE and a win will seal it, draw or loss and I really worry we are gone

Not with the booking.

But there are many players who have stayed on with a yellow card before ie Murray and losing Andone in the latter part of the second half probably wouldn't have hurt us as a normal game as we were camped in our third with little signs of getting out of there.

Over the two last away games, a point was probably a fair outcome.....although hard to take tonight. What is clear though is that we are far better focused now, and in a better place mentally going into a vital game on Saturday than I thought was possible post Cardiff.

And some NSC’ers quite like Spuds and cream themselves over the new WHL.

They’re arrogant fans. If they actually won something, more would soon detest their increased arrogance.

Baker has spent the last week referring to them as European Cup winners.

I hate them they're cheats 1978 we remember

Jahanabaksh and Locadia as favorites? You must be joking? March and Knockeart are worshipped here regardless of how they play lmao Ali J and Locadia play ONE shit pass and people go for their heads.. you've gotten ur list wrong.

Someone else that don’t travel to games locadia is without doubt the clubs worse signing and AJ at £17 mill not far behind

Pretty much what I've been thinking, just bottled saying it.

At least we know whose fault it will be.

I genuinely thought you had done enough to get a point. Good luck for the weekend. Hope you stay up.

Andone, love him to bits, is a very aggressive player. I'm surprised Chris kept him on as long as he did with the yellow. Absolutely first class team pix and subs tonight in my not very humble opinion.

Let's see Flozza starting again Saturday in the monster monster survival fest: us versus the (on the) Beach Boys

Cheers. Keep Chelsea out of the CL places and most of us will be pleased.
