Pretty sure Chelsea don't pay that high wages any more. They guarantee long contracts but not big wages, so it might not be such a big obstacle.
In that case, the player will at least expect us to honour the length of the contract

I assume Chelsea will want £120million for him just to piss off bloom and barber

Not only that our highest earner should be worth it, this fella isn’t.
If he comes in on 120k p/w, then I totally agree. The problem is, a proven Premier League centre back and 27 years old, so in his prime, doesn't come cheap.

Maybe. Could be a six month loan at first in that case.

They have reduced their wage structure, but still (apparently) have an average wage of about £90k, so their average wage is higher than our highest paid player, Kadioglu on £87k.

Adarabioyo is supposedly on £120k. That said, take these numbers with a pinch of salt. Wage sources are notoriously sketchy.
Lewis is in more than Kadioglu. Guaranteed.

Maybe, but Dunk's last contract was signed in mid-2023 and has 1.5 years left currently. New players joining might not always guarantee Dunk's salary jumping each time someone new joins the club on a higher salary. Usually when our ceiling lifts, he gets a new contract. Whether he stays our top earner at 33 is also up for debate.

Voila, the real reason why Rutter decided he wanted to go by Georginio this season :lolol:
Having just bought this very shirt for my son I’m delighted to confirm it’s not by the size, they just iron on some giant pre-made letraset transfer. Fair play they seem more robust than those old Skint logos on my old shirts 😬
