That is outrageous. I wonder if it’s actually criminal as well as unethical. Appalling from the Tories.
It would be ironic if there ended up being more Tory local chairs being charged with electoral fraud for this than there were total prosecutions for electoral fraud in previous elections.

The Conservative Party has expelled MP Andrew Bridgen after he compared Covid-19 vaccines to the Holocaust and was found to have breached lobbying rules.
The member for North West Leicestershire had already lost the party whip, meaning he was sitting as an independent.
But the Tories have now stripped him of his party membership as well 😁🎊🎉🎊🎉🥳

Good riddance. We all knew was coming. What a scumbag.

He is trying to get strikes cancelled, and using regular time-tested means to do so. It is a completely different situation. The Raab case was a professionalism/inter-personal relationship case of bullying.

And yes, I am fully behind the nurses 100%.

Your replies on the Diane Abbott thread aren’t coming through by the way, is everything working okay at your end? Would love to hear your views on the latest antisemitic attack?
I posted on that thread back in 2017, to say Lynn Brown had taken over as Shadow Minister.
Abbott has had the whip withdrawn for her letter, so Sir Keir Starmer has taken decisive action, so what is there to debate?
I didn’t realise I had to comment when you want me too.

Nasty useless f******* always get voted out eventually.

Millions have fallen for it, but there will be enough next election to change it.

Only thing I'm worried about is the damage they will do before it.

Not a narcissist, I think that was the people who made him Deputy Chairman.

He's simply incredibly thick and unfit for public office.
Though he does seem to apply to a few narcissist tick boxes

  • Being extremely arrogant and self-centered
  • Disregarding the feelings and needs of other people
  • Manipulating, using, or exploiting others for personal gain or pleasure
  • Having an extreme need for power
  • Acts of revenge against those who criticize them
  • Fantasizing about ways to obtain more power or dominance over others
  • Lacking conscience, regret, or remorse for their actions
  • Being cruel and taking pleasure in the pain of others
  • High levels of aggression towards other people
  • Paranoia or mistrust of others

That's what's so baffling to me though - the person he's addressing is in a senior position and presumably has quite a lot influence. I could understand it (but wouldn't agree with it) if he was speaking like that to someone serving him in a restaurant or answering the phone at an office/dental surgery/GP practice/whatever (people who do these jobs have my full respect but I've seen how they get spoken to by some people).

To think that speaking to someone else in that way and think it's going to achieve something, you'd surely have to be drunk, high on crystal meth or in the middle of some sort of mental health crisis? Bizarre.
Reminded me strongly of the way Farage used to speak to the European Parliament on the few occasions he bothered to show up. f***ing embarrassing.

It now feels like we all need a holiday

It's such a bizarre rhetoric.

"If you support inclusion, not polluting our water with sewage, holding corrupt politicians to account, looking after the vulnerable, helping refugees fleeing literal war zones and generally not being a colossal prick then you hate England and you should f*** off"

I don't get it. I don't get waking up every morning and fully believing in that mindset. It has to be a gimmick.
