Looks like I need to add Lord Prior, Lord Bethel and Lord Lansey to my ever growing list of reasons why we can only afford a clap for our nurses ???

Well let's see who has been named as being involved in the PPE fast track program (which, incidentally, has since been found to be unlawful) so far ?

Lord Agnew
Brooks Newmark
Lord Feldman
Lord Chadlington
Matt Hancock
Julian Lewis
Andrew Percy
Steve Brine
Esther McVey
Lord Deighton
Baroness Mone
Dominic Cummings
Grant Shapps
David Meller
Michael Gove
Julia Lopez
Andrew Feldman
Penny Maudant

Yep, Lords, Ministers, SPADs and donors from all parties across the political spectrum .......... oh, hang on a minute, they all appear to be from a single party. That can't be right, can it ???

Yup, I've always noticed this; how the Right play the (wo)man - sorry, being 'Woke there to avoid sexism! - not the ball. Close-down debate, or discredit your critic or opponent by applying what are intended to be derogatory labels to discredit them - 'Woke', 'snow-flake', politically-correct, virtue-signaling, 'loony-Left', militant, 'feminazi', etc. Then, you will have discredited their views or policies without even having to discuss them.

I also find the use of 'snowflake' interesting. It is used by Right-wingers to ridicule people who are supposedly thin-skinned and therefore easily offended; the implication is that they need to become more resilient and 'man-up' up by recognising that other people also have different views and opinions.

What I find bemusing is that, on social media over the last 6 years, it is those who accuse others of being 'snowflakes' who are actually most easily-offended and upset if you criticise their heroes Boris Johnson and Nigel Farage, or suggest that Brexit has not been a resounding success. They then start having a toddler-tantrum, throw their toys out of the pram, and demand that you be silenced, sacked or banned - the very cancel-culture they complain about.
Certainly the presumed right-wingers who support trans rights have been particularly active in general abuse of JK Rowling and other left wingers who still support women's rights.

Rishi has got his fag packet out and written his 5 pledges for the year

1. Halve inflation this year to ease the cost of living and give people financial security.
2. Grow the economy, creating better-paid jobs and opportunity right across the country.
3. We will make sure our national debt is falling so that we can secure the future of public services
4. NHS waiting lists will fall and people will get the care they need more quickly
5. We will pass new laws to stop small boats, making sure that if you come to this country illegally, you are detained and swiftly removed.

Sounds like a mission statement from a contestant on The Apprentice.

If you had any integrity you’d make your points and back them up if challenged. Instead you immediately go on the attack or play the victim. Which is why it’s obvious you are nothing more than a troll.
I agree with you but it has to be said your posts are often very similar

All is a bit generic really.

National debt is falling?

12 years of failure now mean the deficit will be £177B in this financial year, good luck with that

We still had a couple of the old favourites, " 20 000 new Police officers " and " Grasping the opportunities of Brexit " ...the " Opportunities " of Brexit seem to be selling sandwiches and bottles of water to those stuck in lorries at Dover or queues at airport Customs.

very generic. im sure he said reduce the deficit, debt isnt reducing anytime soon. only likely one to acheive is due to factors outside control, reducing inflation.
