That’s a lot closer than was being made out.

Not sure that’s going to help any splits in the party.

O well.

dont think there's a particular split, they dont represent any factions only themselves really, Sunak isnt going to lead some rebellion from the backbenches.

I don’t think so either, however it’s a decent enough split in the party that don’t agree with her from the start.

Could be an issue given they are quite away apart on policy.

Her cost of living announcement this week will be massive for her.

Lots of self indulgent waffle.

Truss is leader, a new mare for the UK begins

There was no way the Tory membership would ever elect a leader of colour. Just impossible

i'd rather have Lenny Henry or Ainsley , at least they are only rather rich instead of being oscxenely rich and therefore TOTALLY out of touch.....Carl Cox anyone...??

Not at first. If things have gone to pot six months from now, however…

If being PM doesn't work out, at least she'll have a job at Deliveroo.

Still maybe the public might give her a chance?

West is BEST
Short term? Disastrous
Long term? Superb

I am now reflecting on how it has come to this? An obvious moron as PM.

The U.K. is about to lose the scrap of credibility we were clinging on to.

She’s a total nut job.

80,000 choose who runs a country of 67 million and, if reports are true, the majority of them are so uninspired by their choice, that they would have preferred to have kept a lying criminal instead.

Democracy in this country is in its death throes. Its actually more of a plutocracy than it was before the extension of the franchise. Before the Great Reform Act in 1832 the electorate totalled approx 400,000 landowning men. This was almost three times the number who were eligible to vote for who they wanted as Prime Minister from a shortlist of two decided by 355 people.

Well, although I would have preferred Sunak, once the predictable ya-booing has quietened down a teensy bit, let us listen to her plans for helping the populace and business through ‘ the cost of living crisis’, before everyone thinks Armageddon is upon us.
The jury will be out.
