We could have built and equipped four new hospitals for the £4bn of crap PPE obtained through the dodgy "friends and family" contracts. FOUR bloody hospitals.

Cabinet ministers should be like members of Lloyds and be held personally responsible for wasting taxpayers money as a result of incompetence or corruption.

Four bloody hospitals. And yet none of them give a shit. I have not heard / read one word of apology from a government minister for their corruption and incompetence.

Why do we need to build 4 new hospitals when the government pledged to build 20?

Or was that just a lie, like a nuclear power station a year.

Or cut 20,000 police officers and 23, 000 police staff, then boast about record numbers of new recruits, that still leaves you with less than you started with...

You really couldn't make this shit up!

That would have got Boris 10% of the way to his 40 new hospitals promised... (vapourware promise...)

You can see why he didn't build the 40 hospitals. It would have put him in a difficult spot having to invent reasons for not being able to staff any of them that were nothing to do with his party's lunatic obsessions with the EU and immigration.

'He' didn't build 40 hospitals because 'he' never WAS going to build 40 hospitals. Less to do with the staffing issues, more to do with the fact that the whole thing was complete and utter Borisshit. Of the 40, there were a total of FOUR new hospitals. The rest were new hospital wings and rebuilding/repairing existing areas.

His perennial excuse - As far as I am aware. He's lying again.

"As far as I am aware, no Government business was discussed"

As far as he was aware he didn't break the law, as far as he could remember he wasn't told about Pincher.

In other words, he did discuss Government business.

Johnson was also always keen to quote how many new Nurses and Doctors he apparently had recruited to the NHS at PMQ's....until this was subsequently dismissed by the NHS report issued recently... you have to imagine Johnson's mind being similar to a fruit machine with many different reels separately containing important occupations, infrastructure and then numbers in single figures right up to reels containing 000's....

So at time of stress when questioned about his government's performance he yanks on the mental fruit machine handle and you get random results across the reels and he speils out something like " This government is employing 30,000 new Midwives, building a Nuclear Power Station every year, given one man 50,000 Covid Vaccines and has helped create 300 new Food Banks."

Spin the handle endlessly and you get different random alignments every time. The reason for this is quite simple, it's difficult to remember a lie, but you never forget the truth.

The presenter, Kate McCann fainted, and trashed her lectern.

Truss is painfully dim.

Read PPE at Merton. And that's college, not Mrs.

Her imperative may be unpalatable, and her ambition unsightly, but she is probably not dim.

I say that as a member of the party of the hoary-handed sons of toil.
