Another part of the nobber narrative is that once we have left the EU we will be able to control our borders. We have had 12 years of tory misrule and have had 'control' since before we left the EU and yet someone, not the conservatives of course, is responsible for tens of thousands of illegal immigrants being housed in luxury in hotels.

Just back from a pleasant appointment with my hygienist and I find that I am being accused of " nastiness " If you check back through this thread you will see that I was responding to accusations of unsuccessful Conservative leadership candidates being accused of being " Bame Traitors " #13382 . Still haven't got to the gist of why this may be so . Seems to me to be rather condescending at best for some people to decide how others that they might perceive in their narrow mindset of being disadvantaged when in actual fact they have been rather successful to think and act .

As far as the accusation made on this thread by the same poster of the current government treating migrants crossing the channel on inflatable craft as criminals , still waiting for the evidence .

Yes. The last time I spoke to a racist conservative was down my pub neary 20 years ago. There are many reasons to worry about conservatives but, these days, racism isn't one of them (in my experience).

They can but Parliament is in recess on Thursday (Friday is constituents day) 6 weeks holiday because they all work so hard!
