Proof that Penny Mordaunt is a Walt. Every reservist is required to attend so many times in a year and to do the two weeks annual training. You get the pay as a Bounty every November, and the two weeks training at the end of the fortnight.
She was enrolled as a Subby, but got two honorary promotions as an MP, in the same that Daniel Craig was given an honorary Commander's title for playing James Bond.

Submariners are irritated by her wearing the dolphins.

She's no Prince Harry when it comes to the military then...

Could be. I may have to bite the bullet and get onto a private dentist soon. Can’t even get a check up on the NHS at the moment. I asked my local practice if they are taking NHS patients. She half laughed and said “no, dear”.

Have a word with driller on Nsc. He is a dentist.

The Govt tables a no-confidence motion in itself after blocking Labour’s bid to remove Johnson from office immediately.

It's a complete farce. I suppose if they win, Johnson can then say he has the confidence of his party?

I wonder what excuse Patel will come up with next week. I thought this government was supposed to be functioning.

I think it's more trying to make Labour look incompetent by saying they didn't do it correctly, 'heres' how you do it.

Wish they concentrate more on getting the big calls right like avoiding £11bn of extra interest’ on UK debt ...

Does anyone have a clue wtf "Captain crasharooney snoozefest" is all about and why the Tory Toddlers on the front bench thought it so funny?

I'm not aware of any such comments, or the context of them.

I think it's better to publish these with direct quotes added.

As I said earlier, it's like a school playground except that it's our lives they're playing around with.

Pritti Patel said she couldn't go to the Home Affairs committee this morning because she'd rather wait until the leadership is decided on 5th September. It's part of her job, for goodness sake.

Don't say that. I'm in the public sector and just emailing the head of service to explain I won't be in for 7 weeks for just this reason

It is hearsay but apparently from a constituent in Fareham.

I'm not a fan of much of this government's credentials, and haven't voted Tory for 30 years. But I'm even less of a fan of speculation quoted as fact. It takes seconds for Twitter and Facebook to open its rectum unfortunately.

I think it's better not to place unverifiable statements in public like that at all. That said, I should have faith that folk will question it. But that's like saying folk shouldn't read The Daily Mail. They will, and they'll be subconsciously infected by it.

Fair comment, and I should have checked. There again she is a member of a Budhist sect which has beliefs similar to Glen Hoddle about disabled people and former lives.

FFS twitter

So this is now being shared as fact between anti tory/FBPE types despite the person it originates from saying he had no evidence and he heard it 2nd hand from someone else.

You're all bonkers! :lolol:

Obviously there's a direct quote.............. from Justin Pearce, who heard it from someone else :lolol:
