The thought of seeing that sociopathic woman’s boat on every media outlet ad finitum is almost enough to want Blow Job back in at number 10.

Given we have an cost of living and environment crisis on our hands would it not have been possible for Johnson and Truss to share a plane to Aberdeen?

It’s a funny thing politicians in power cheating on their partner, in France, Italy and Greece the likes of Mitterand and Chirac heroes for doing so.

The UK’s caught forever in this faux morals maze.

It seems many people in this country are still Victorian-era prudes when it comes to it

Two things: why is the whole Balmoral charade a thing? Why does 'Boris' need to go there to resign?

Also, this price cap on fuel – why wasn't it done WEEKS ago? Even if a temporary measure before the new regime came in?

Or better still, do all this nonsense last night and get the sleeper up from Euston. Cheaper AND greener.

I’m so used to that haystack in an ill fitting suit telling lies, I simply don’t believe him when he reels off so called achievements he claims to have made during his tenure. Brexit, nurses, vaccine, economic strides, employment etc. I just assume it’s a pack of lies.

Anyway, on one hand it’s great to see the back of the bleached toad but daunting to think of the mad pale queen in the driver’s seat.

It’s like losing 50p and finding nothing.

Bye bye Boris, it’s been grim.

I don't get this: I'd say we're the exact opposite. Johnson had a chaotic private life: cheating on his wives, getting mistresses pregnant, forcing one to have an abortion. Truss is not far behind him in the adultery stakes and yet both have been elected as prime minister.

If Brits were as prudish as you suggest, neither would get anywhere near high office

A total lack of self-awareness. Not a note of apology for the way he has conducted himself whilst in office nor for the way he has governed.

Good riddance to the corrupt incompetent. Maybe now that he has time on his hands, nanny can teach him how to tie his tie properly.

And speaking of nannys, what a scary sight. A mini Rees-Mogg dressed exactly the full-sized version down to the outdated hair arrangement and bins. Yuk.

It's because of decoration and ceremony. It's very important to the UK. It's why we have the monarchy, for instance.
