Wonder if they are going to shout "SURPRISE" when he walks through the door
The surprise being they’re still there?

Tory MP on the committee more concerned about avoiding a general election than anything else. I found that a bit tasteless. I think we need a general election. The Tories have served their purpose for the moment.
Can the nation afford it, though? I think not. Nation first for me. Get him out, now.
They bottled it

Hope he hangs on, doing untold damage to the party.
Completely bottled it but it might mean we get to enjoy this clownshow a little while longer.
30p Lee also gone. (Anderson)
I think that's 18 now but it's hard to keep up.
The Government has the stench of a mob who need a spell or two in opposition to sort themselves out and decide what they stand for.
Not sure you have the right objectives. Whoever is PM and whatever Party is in government, I want them to sort out the mess.

You are aware that when you voted for him and this Government it was for five years ? Still it's nice that Starmer's announcement of a few days ago even lets the most ardent Brexiteer/Johnson acolytes of the last 6 years to join in with the 'let's all give Johnson' a kicking Celebrations. Uniting the country
Exactly. The office of Prime Minister, the notion of service and the nation need him gone today.
I'm on the wagon at the moment but, if and when it happens, I will have an "exception day". Then I will start hoping that his successor is not quite as useless. Because, if it's Raab or Patel we really are Donald Ducked.
On a separate note, has anyone seen Mouldy Boots ?
Him holding on for a few days or week won’t do anymore damage.
You are aware that there have been plenty of Governments lasting less than 5 years ? I voted Tory to safeguard our leaving the EU. That’s my reason for my vote and if we went back in time I would vote exactly the same way for the same reason. It is very easy to understand even if you disagree. For all your jibes though the only party I have ever campaigned for is Labour and I am happy to see them returning to their roots.
