The reason it’s not in the pit is nothing to do with mods, it’s because people haven’t risen to troll bait. It’s been largely a mature, civilised discussion without too much input from the two or three Bear Pit dwellers that usually try to derail threads.

Nobody has tried to ban you from the thread, have they? You don’t like Jess Phillips. Fair enough. I happen to think she’s a force for good. She works her socks off for her constituents and is known for doing so.

This is a thread about the car crash Tory government so you are unlikely to get much support when you lay into perfectly decent labour MP’s.

Have a good night.

Okay, I won't get involved.
But my own personal ranking of Jess Phillips in the the labour party would site her just about bottom.
Remove the phillips types from labour party and they might stand a chance to win an election.

Good night Clampy.

Fair play. Genuinely hope you do continue to get involved, we don’t share many views but I can’t remember you ever being nasty or rude.

Night night.

To be fair to the guy he probably didn't see anything wrong with what he was watching as he is normally surrounded by a bunch of c*NTS.

Jess Phillips can be pointed out for many reasons, perhaps her spiteful hatred for many has divided the country to where we are today.
For this thread to still be on the mainboard and not in the pit, shows the unbalanced moderating IMO.

I will leave you lot to waste another thousand posts on general tory bashing and all agreeing with one another.

The current Government is doing an excellent job of dividing the country.

Jess Phillips is just doing a good job of being a good MP.

Come on, Mouldy. You're better than that.

Bloke's bang to rights and we are having a bit of a laugh at the party of 'family values'.

You can have you day the next time someone labour drops one, which is a certainty.

NSC is now a depressing place because of the politics. This thread should have been put in The Bear Pit months ago. I think it only remains here so people can be nasty.

I think many of us find the country is an enormously depressing place because of the government!

do you mean that this government is by far and away the worst in modern history, and even you are struggling to vote for it?

And yet you are on this thread regularly giving thumbs up to the rare posts actually supporting Johnson's Government

I think the ploy of the Johnson/Conservative lovers is to get this thread into the pit (long grass) so it is forgotten about and not seen.

After all, that's what Johnson does.

Oh well.

Just need a new thread about this week's local elections instead if that happens ?

Calling out corruption is never a waste.... it's entirely necessary.

Night night.

Well he is occasionally personal about politicians with whom he disagrees e.g. 'hilariously' likening Caroline Lucas to a vampire - and he has form when it comes to being rude to other posters.....

Depressing? I'm glad so many posters are determined to debate the misbehaviour of those powerful people who represent us to the world and lie to us.... from whichever Party. As long as we debate/argue the topics without personal rancour, all views are welcome....

Anywhere else and its instant dismissal marched out the door. Shouldn't be any different in parliament no matter what side of the fence.

Should be even swifter action taken for MP’s. Johnson has set a fetid precedent of “ride it out and see if you can get away with it”.

Not so much a precedent as a model. I suspect the next cabinet, assuming not led by Truss, will be more traditional conservative. He doesn't give a fukk about protocol but most I believe do.

It's a good thing it's all in one thread surely, then you can just choose to ignore the thread if you find it depressing?

If this thread was moved to the bear pit then we would end up having separate threads on:

- Tory MPs involved in partygate
- The Tory PM being charged as a criminal and lying to parliament
- Tory Chancellor's wife and the non-dom tax balls up
- Tory MPs being caught watching porn in parliament
- Tory MPs involved in sexual harassment cases
- Tory MP trying to defend another Tory MP who was convicted of sexually assaulting a child
- Tory government trying to implement the Rwanda immigration scheme
- Tory performance in local elections
- Tory MPs trying to remove BJ
- Tory MPs slagging off the Archbishop of Canterbury
- Nadine Dorries

And that's just in the last few weeks. Probably best we keep it all to one thread eh.
