Porn usually involves audience participation. He was *******? Just watching it? Why? it’s bizarre.

The Conservative politician accused of watching porn on his phone in the House of Commons has announced he will step down as an MP after facing calls to resign.

Neil Parish, the MP for Tiverton and Honiton in Devon, had already had the Tory whip removed and suggested he had opened the porn “in error”. He previously said he would only resign if found guilty by an inquiry into his actions.

“Of course it’s embarrassing and it’s embarrassing for my wife….”

It’s your poor constituents we’re all worried about you perverted selfish c***, not your daft wife who somehow became attracted to a dwarfed right wing farmer with a porn-in-public habit.

If one gives the benefit of the doubt to those claiming that Starmer, who , personally I have no love for, is as guilty as Johnson for breaking lock down laws, because he voted for the laws and that’s as bad as Johnson who made the laws.
Two questions, did Starmer ever lie to Parliament about his ‘drinks session’and when Johnson gets multiple more fines, what will be the deflection then?

Disgraced Tory MP Neil Parish, who resigned his seat on Saturday after admitting he had twice watched pornography in the House of Commons chamber, appeared to have committed a criminal offence which carried a maximum two-year prison sentence, Labour said.

Last night Jess Phillips, Labour’s shadow minister for domestic abuse and safeguarding, said that it appeared that Parish “of his own admission” had committed a criminal offence under the Indecent Displays (Control) Act of 1981.

The act states that: “If any indecent matter is publicly displayed the person making the display and any person causing or permitting the display to be made shall be guilty of an offence.”

It adds that: “Any matter which is displayed in or so as to be visible from any public place shall, for the purposes of this section, be deemed to be publicly displayed.”

That's not fair. He was probably quite an upright member !

Everytime I see Jess Phillips its like watching someone opening a can of shaken coke, an uncontrollable explosion of a useless gas.
It's a matter of time before she gets kicked out of the labour party.

She will decay the party like coke does to your teeth.

What a weird response, because I don’t like either and don’t praise the Labour Party?

Sorry if being slightly annoyed if people lied over what they did during restrictions whilst Jo Public got fined for being out walking is wrong.

If they people can’t tell the truth over if someone was at a work event , what else is there?

I explained to you that the rules were different in April 2021 than the lockdown in 2020 when people did get fined, but you keep digging it back up like a dog with a bone.
Like I said before, you like playing devil’s advocate.

I am no Labour supporter, so why mention praising them?

Headlines for tomorrow’s papers reporting that Parish’s wife has left him. Apparently she didn’t even want to see him to tell him in person. Instead she left him a John Deere letter.

Thanks.

Boris Johnson (a mildly poisonous gas cloud, tainting all it touches) has decayed our institutions, our standing in the world, our integrity and our prosperity. Still, let’s have a whinge about Jess Phillips, because she’s dared to point out that laws are meant to apply to privileged white males too.

In my experience, people with the surname "Parish" are absolutely not to be trusted.

Also, any colossal pervert that watches their regular wrist exercise vids in the workplace near female colleagues or openly in front of others.

It’s weird. I simply don’t understand watching porn in a situation like that.

Jess Phillips can be pointed out for many reasons, perhaps her spiteful hatred for many has divided the country to where we are today.
For this thread to still be on the mainboard and not in the pit, shows the unbalanced moderating IMO.

I will leave you lot to waste another thousand posts on general tory bashing and all agreeing with one another.

The reason it’s not in the pit is nothing to do with mods, it’s because people haven’t risen to troll bait. It’s been largely a mature, civilised discussion without too much input from the two or three Bear Pit dwellers that usually try to derail threads.

Nobody has tried to ban you from the thread, have they? You don’t like Jess Phillips. Fair enough. I happen to think she’s a force for good. She works her socks off for her constituents and is known for doing so.

This is a thread about the car crash Tory government so you are unlikely to get much support when you lay into perfectly decent labour MP’s.

Have a good night.
