Amazing how far and fast we're fallen under this corrupt and immoral cabal

In the meantime, our human rights are being removed quite rapidly. The right to peaceful protest is gone, sentences up to ten years in prison.
The neutrality of the Electoral Commission removed, and voter ID brought in.

The BBC too scared to identify a Tory MP? He is a Tory MP not a 'UK MP'.

Many Tories have taken the word Conservative out of their Twitter bios, and just have MP for their constituency. Trying to disassociate themselves?

Something every day.

There are so many of these that I assume each daily update about yet another slimeball MP is a windup.

Sadly not. What has this country come to?

FFFFFFFFFFFFSakes

I despair. Actually, strike that, I am past despair.

It panders to the 'they're all as bad as each other' voters (or non-voters because they can't be bothered to turn out).

Quite. Fake whataboutery. False equivalence. They love it, those right wingers. Some even start false equivalence threads on NSC.

It is very difficult to admire people who encourage the exact opposite of the doctrine of John Stuart Mill when it suits them

I thought The i was taken over by the Daily Mail Group a few years ago?

If these are allowed to pass Johnson will now wield ultimate power over another of the bodies designed to hold executive power in check. We will no longer be a functioning democracy.

Some ace reporting from The Mail stating that Boris is looking at a 7 year jail sentence for fraud.
A London court heard he transferred £350,000 to other accounts, hid a property in Germany and failed to declare 75,000 shares in an IT firm and a £700,000 loan.

They have received the royal assent so are now law, it also includes the Immigration law which allows anyone to have their British citizenship removed and deported, and the steps to the NHS privatisation bill.

This country is now officially in the 19th century again.

Yep. And Johnson is determined to stick around while he gets everything put in law for him and his chums to drain Britain dry. At which point I think he’ll resign and go and join his millions in an offshore tax haven.

When Johnson became the first ever Prime Minister to be fined by the police I believe there was absolutely no mention on the front page....however, Keith Starmer has a beer in an office....
