Good email that hope she has the balls to reply, may I ask who the ‘we’ is? Do represent other constituents and if so in what capacity?

Of course you can ask.... just as I was asked by colleagues and friends at work and in the neighbourhood if I would write and express our joint misgivings about Mims Davies.

I have requested each of them to do the same on my behalf as well, so that this MP has an idea of the scale of disapproval of her apparent inability to exercise any degree of independent thought and agency bestowed on her in 2019 election.

What about you? Are you writing to your MP or do you condone the behaviour of this tory cabal?

Just to add that I find it much more courteous when you address me directly rather than writing speculative comments about me to other posters, so thank you....

Here's the email I sent today to Mims Davies, my local MP; I expect a standard 'cut and paste' response.....

Dear Mims Davies

I thank you for your replies to previous emails and have passed them on to fellow constituents who expressed scepticism about your unfailing and abiding loyalty to the government on every topic throughout your voting history.

Please will you now comment on the December 18th event; in your opinion was this a party or a business meeting? In either case was it ethically acceptable?

We await your considered opinion in your own voice......

Thank you

Good luck. I wrote to her last Thursday, no response yet.

Good luck. I wrote to her last Thursday, no response yet.

Thanks.

I am not sure I need luck because my genuine concerns about her political integrity are implied in the message and I do not expect that they will be allayed by her response....

Has any Tory ever done tears of regret and shame that weren’t self pity?

I have been thinking today, Jeffery Archer and Jonathon Aitkin must be a bit pissed off that they aren’t involved in Government now, the Police wouldn’t even have investigated the accusations of perjury against them now, let alone having to do time for it.

Aitkin, loath his 'sword of truth and shield of justice' though I did, atoned in prison, helping illiterate prisoners communicate with their families. John Profumo devoted himself to charity work after his fall.

These c***s, however, are a different breed of entitled brass-necked trough-grubbing shits. How anyone can contemplate voting for them till their swamp has been drained would be beyond me (were anyone of sound mind to step forward and declare their undying allegiance).

Wow, Boris has an absolute brass neck of gleaming proportions. Listening to him paying tribute to Allegra rather than admitting any knowledge of the question he's been asked. What a dirty ****er.

My MP is the fabulous Peter Kyle, do you think it’s worth me dropping him a line?

Out of interest, why did your work colleagues, friends and neighbours ask you specifically to write to her?

Of course he is. Even if you personally voted for Johnson's Government (after claiming you voted UKIP/Brexit Party and then denying it when you got caught out).

Or are you now going to deny that too

[emoji23] Brilliant you’ve been searching for that for ages, I’m in Hove and voted Nemeth, that was an extremely tongue in cheek post but fair play for digging it up well done sir, [emoji122] I’ve never voted the Brexit party or UKIP fact.

Dinner calls, so you have time to think of an answer

What would you like to say to 'the fabulous Peter Kyle' then? Writing to him is up to you, not my business.

Why do you have a particular interest in reasons why I wrote to my constituent MP and mentioned others who share my uneasiness about her probity? Is this another example of you trying to dig up something, like my attendance at the Goldstone in the Chicken Run that you can then dismiss as lies. If you follow the same pattern, I expect you to scarper when I hold you to account for your unfriendly behaviour...

Have a go at answering my question as a matter of good faith and let's see where the conversation leads. Or not. But please try and refrain from 'Janet and John' type references or referring to me disrespectfully to others.... it does you no credit.

I have nothing to say to Peter Kyle, he does a fabulous job for people in his constituents, very well thought of across the political divide too.

I am fascinated to know why you were writing on behalf of others, are you a local representative of something?

I don’t see that any of my comments on this thread can be deemed as unfriendly, could you provide an example of this?

Read my first response to the question in bold and then tell me what part of it you don't understand.

Read what you wrote to me after I confided that, like you, I had supported the Albion from the Chicken Run in the sixties and then reflect on whether suggesting I was lying is discourteous if not unfriendly.

Read your own acknowledgement that making patronising 'Janet and John' comments about my questions to you were rude and then explain what part of that you have forgotten.

Read your comments to others about me and reflect on how that comes over.....

I don't know you but I don't think you represent yourself particularly favourably when corresponding with me......

On reflection, I don't really think you seek serious debate, but it is always there if you wish to engage in it rather than playing facile games....

Well, Johnson wanted his seat at the table of History. He’s got it. Down on the kid’s table, smooshing his alphabetti spaghetti into his mashed potato.

I’m not seeking a debate, I’m fascinated to know why all these people asked you to write to the MP on their behalf, I’m probably alone in thinking this, but why didn’t they write their own letters, why you?
