Topics you just dread in Quizzes?

For me they are the following

any question to do with plants,or gardening in general
anything relating to cars! have never driven and no interest in makes etc
finally, birds/wildlife

which basically leaves me with sport, music and history.

Actually I'm pretty GOOD on sport, but only on proper sports!

If I choose a sports question, I want it to be about FOOTBALL, or CRICKET, or TENNIS, or RUGBY, or something.

I always get stitched with "Which HORSE won the Derby in 1957?", or "who won the 1986 SNOOKER World Championship?". I asked for a SPORT question, FFS...

one thing i do find is that any question regarding Cup finals in the 60's i would be reasonably confident. anything to do with last ten finals would be wasted on me

Music - My music knowledge is pretty poor and I often struggle to match an artist to a song

If it's a question I know, then literally EVERYONE in the quiz would have known, so it's fair to say, questions I could get never really come up.

useless at classical literature, art and theatre.

Sh*t hot at geography, science and mainstream sports (although Cricket I can be a bit wonky on).

Pretty good on Music, Film, TV, food.

Haven't done a quiz for ages though!

and luckilly I have vegster in my team who is an expert on gardening and wildlife.

Indeed, the rise of numerous melancholy girl/boy bands producing either unremarkable new music or copious cover versions is a nightmare in quizzes.

Also I must add, Art and to a lesser extent, Literature. Other than that, I'm pretty good on most things.

I'd have to say my weakest areas are:

-the Luxembourg national space programme, 1971- 1984
-the political speeches of Dr Canaan Banana
-Diseases and infirmities particular to the lower intestine
-constellations of the NCG1433 galaxy
-Pakistan national Kabaddi championship winners of the 1990s

I've been pretty embarrassed by simple questions on all of the above in my time, I can tell you.
