For me top 5 is
The Departed
Training Day
Ray
Anchorman
Gladiator
I have a feeling that when Flight comes out in February, that might just sneak in somewhere - looks AMAZING.

Worthingite has the right idea if you need a comedy, Anchorman.i can see what you mean but the first time i saw the hangover(which was in the States) i thought it was just brilliant...plus i need some comedy in my top 5
I really enjoyed Argo, but it wouldn't make a top 5, top 20 maybe, at a push.
Top 5 would probably be ones already mentioned, but a few excellent ones that nobody's said yet are:
Pan's Labyrinth
Mullholland Drive
Scott Pilgrim vs The World
Let The Right One In
District 9
Missed it at the cinema, I wonder how long before it's on DVD?
Have you watched Harry Brown??
