4) Lock. Stock and Two Smoking Barrels
5) The Quiet American (for surprise factor as much as anything as loved the book and normally find Michael Caine wooden yet I really enjoyed this)

Seems it mainly has to be based on a good book or feature gangsters if I'm to love it!
