The bridge - way too expensive and a shithole pub that got rid of the pool tabel for NO reason! They worry more about Food than beer although the garden is nice on a sunny day.

The Bucks - Piss Fosters at £2 a pop cant go wrong, also loads of decent ales, very friendly people and my main regular.

The Duke - Not what it used to be but they do have live bands and various beer fests so its always worth a pop in.

Waterside - 2x Pool tables, young audience, alright for footy, usually alot of totty

Swiss - Too expensive, another Food pub but again the garden is nice, usually avoid

Crown & Wanker - Another to lose 3 pool tables for NO reason, dont like the place but usually have 1 in there on a pub crawl

Sovreign - Open late..always a winner with that, other than that its SHIT...avoid!

Marlipins - Abit pants IMO

Lazy Toad - WINNER...purely for having ORANJEBOOM on tap and Toad Porn on the walls!

i must know you then

i go in the snooker club, great set of people in their, great for a pub crawl shoreham:bowdown:

Yes my favoured drinking den is the Shoreham Snooker Club in West Street close to the curry house. There is a great sets of lads in there with many of them being Albion fans. Another bonus some might say is that woman are not allowed to use the club for the majority of the week, the only accessible day for them being Satuday. Something of a rearity nowadays.

Other than that, in the 15 years I have been drinking in the area, the Buckingham Arms has to be the one which ticks mosts of the boxes over that period!! :drink:

The Burrells refurb in nearley finished now.

Anyone heard whats its going to be?

I went in there shortly before it shut, and what a shithole!

The Crab went really expensive afters its refurb £3.20 a pint last time I was there.

Nobody in there on a Sat afternoon with Sky Sports on, not a good sign.

Tch, you're ALL wrong.

Coming in at number 3 you have The Bridge. Decent sun terrace out the back, nice selection off beers, and a pretty good grub menu.

Number 2 would have to be The Marlipins. Good selection of ales and beers, nice "Olde Fart" feel about the place, with one (recent) concession to the 21st Century in the shape of a 42 inch plasma on the back wall - with the sound turned down, of course.

Number 1 would have to be the Lazy Toad, because they sell Summer Lightning. And I like the old hobbit who shuffles round collecting glasses. And its right next to an excellent curryhouse.

The perfect mini-pub crawl, those three.

you could do a lot worse than to follow easy's advice there.

i'd avoid the swiss if i were you. the red lion's quite nice in the summer out back.

when did the surrey close down?

The Ferry is a lovely little boozer. It must be the only pub in the world which has a smoking patio which can only be accessed by walking through the gent's urnials. The smoking area is right next to the outside gent's shitter.

Genius

It seems as though some things never change, I was brought up in Shoreham and lived there for 27 years, just a few doors away from The Royal George. It was always a dump and judging by the fact that nobodys even mentioned it, it must still be a dump.

i like shoreham for a good pub crawl, yes some pubs aint the best, but aslong as you have good company thats all that matter, usual start off in the snooker club first, which i recommend, great tables and a younger customer base have revived its atmosphere
