Taking your kids to football is a wonderful, wonderful thing. It's part of the baton changing between generations that keeps our club thriving.

Bladders Jr had 2 Balti pies as it was his first game of the season.

He loves them as much as the match.

Lack of kids meals a bit of a let down though. Had to get him a hotdog. I Did ask the the assistant what the kids meal consisted of, he didn't know ! Oh well didn't ruin our day

My son caught one of the t-shirts from the cannon today - he was grinning from ear to ear about that and about the 5 goals! Reminds me of my own excitement at games when I used to go as a young girl, with my old Dad. Happy days!

I accidentally bought a kids meal on Tuesday (I only asked for a fruit shoot), anyway, inside it had half a hotdog, a packet of crisps and a banana. Oh and the fruitshoot. Not too bad, he enjoyed it.

Nice post, happy days at the Amex lovely to think thousands of people have already got fond memories of the stadium and it's only a year old .

the first season at the Amex arrived at the perfect time for us - got season tickets for me and my 8 and 6 year old sons, and we sat with my dad - fabulous to be able to do something that we all love irrespective of age. Our 5 year old son felt deprived last season, with 2 older brothers going, so bought him a season ticket as well for this year, so when you see me herding 3 small boys to the one low slung urinal in the gents on the WSL concourse please give me space!

Just gutted we had to miss first 2 games for our summer holiday - but spent today giving the boys regular text updates from the game...sounds like Bruno is a legend already.

My son is 2 I cannot wait to take him. I remember my first game my Dad took me to Anfield when I was 6 Liverpool vs Coventry. Turned out to be the nail in the coffin for Roy Evans as Liverpool were beat at home.

I know my first game was not Brighton but still takes your breath away.

I now take my Dad to the Amex and I cannot wait to take my son.

I took my Son yesterday. He's 33!

The investment really pays off when they can buy you beers!

I took my son yesterday as well but he is only 27. Plenty of beers.

He never saw us win at the Goldstone or Withdean. He has never seen us lose at the Amex.
