I love taking my daughter - she's 7 and got the bug last year - absolutely loves it - my son goes too and he's 17 and because of the age gap it's great they can enjoy an activity together which is nice

If there is only one reason in the world for becoming a Dad, taking your Son to football is it ! :clap2:

Unless you've got a daughter who doesn't give a rat's arse about football and would rather spend 90 minutes making a collage of Harry Styles out of long grain rice than go within 1,752 miles of The Amex Express Community Stadium. We aren't all blessed with the requisite baby batter to make boys you know Wookie!

... or taking your daughter. My girl has been to her third match in a week (she took in the women's game last Sunday too) so football shouldn't just be confined to boys.

I took one of my grandsons yesterday - he used to be a Birmingham fan - fair enough it's his home town - but now he supports Brighton and Birmingham. Won't be long before he forgets about Birmingham completely!

Really enjoy sharing matchdays with the kids.

I took my 6 year old for his first game against Swindon. Bit of a shame this was his first game I wanted it to be at the Amex but someone I was taking pulled out at the last minute so rather than waste the ticket took my son. Still think his first Amex game will be special, should be Brum.

We got our four children season tickets last season and only our daughter (13) decided not to renew - it's like the first time every time when we walk up the stairs to the west stand. The little one is four and 'doesn't want to come to the dark games' but the older two watch, cheer, sing, tut at the swear words and go crazy when we score. I never thought, all those years ago when my dad took me to the Goldstone that I would have such an amazing experience with my own children in such an amazing place watching my team play football.

I still come to games with my dad, my mum (JCL), my brother, my wife, my aunt and her daughter and the boys - it's an incredible time to be an Albion fan - nicely topped off with the first goals and win of the season yesterday.

Been taking mine since the last season at the Goldstone, I've always bought them season tickets wherever we have played and for the first time this year they bought my season ticket for me, and I have a pint waiting for me when I get in the pub to meet them,
Never lose the buzz of being with them at football in the North Stand
It makes life worth living !!

Was planning to bring my 4 year old daughter to her very first match yesterday, but she decided at the last moment she didn't want to come. I was so gutted. :(

Took my daughter to 1 game last season and she got bored. I've taken my son to over a dozen games now but with the 90 minute journey in and even longer home (waiting for connections) and the lure of his XBox he's not so keen to go, but will if I 'encourage' him. He seems to enjoy it when we're there though.

I took my Son yesterday. He's 33!

The investment really pays off when they can buy you beers!

Took my 18 year old daughter. She has never been to a football match before and therefore has never been to the Amex or seen The Albion. She loved it. Couldn't believe how much better it was than on TV. Wasn't too embarrassed by her old man. Wants to go again. Had to explain that we don't score 5 every week.

Was very proud and delighted to have her next to me. And chuffed she enjoyed herself.

Had to explain that we don't score 5 every week.

I had this problem with my son! He came to a few games in the second half of last season (first was Bristol), and we won the first 4 or 5 he came to.

He couldn't unserstand when we lost to Reading, he didn't think it was allowed!
