[Football] Tony Bloom is quite good at this football club chairman thing isn't he?

Would love to see the training ground pitch developed into a proper mini stadium for the youth teams and womens team - can it be expanded ?

The space or facilities aren't the problem. It's the access.

Brighton and Hove Albion men's team, 16th in League 1 (third tier) when he took over in 2009, now 9th in Premier League.

Brighton and Hove Albion women's team, 10th in National League Southern division (third tier) when he took over in 2009, now 7th in Women's super league.

Union St Gilloise, 6th in Belgian First Division B (2nd tier) when he took over in 2018, now 2nd in Belgian First Division A.

What about the bottle tops!

I think the land in Lancing is owned by the Albion and they have something to do with New Monks Farm.
However i think they should go to someone like Whitehawk and invest in an upgrade for the womens team to be able to play locally, and not have an empty stadium, but maybe 2-3 thousand capacity, that would work...
Maybe

Back in Sussex
In that bit of dead time between when the players had left the pitch and before the players returned to the pitch, I looked towards the Directors' Box area from my front row WSU vantage point.

Bloom was beaming from ear to ear and going round high-fiving the youngsters in attendance.

He looked deliriously happy, which made me feel all gooey inside.

In a world where clubs are owned by all kinds of shady characters, organisations and countries, we are truly blessed to have a man at the helm who rides the footballing rollet coaster in exactly the same way we all do.

I always forget about Union St Gilloise - and feel a little uneasy about it - anyone know what their fans think about it all?

They hate it. They can't stand someone coming in investing in their infrastructure building probably the best team in Belgium and taking 3 years to do it.

In short they want him OUT !!!!! ;)
