Thing is you'll probably remember that conversation for the rest of your life. I'll never forget seeing Johnny Byrne in the street and saying 'alright John' and he winked at me and said 'alright mate'.
Cant you look where you are going I may ber needed for 10 mins on Monday or to take a penalty.
Yes Johnny's a great guy, played up front with him in a game. I remember it like it was yesterday, i fired in the winning goal with about ten minutes to go.
Well firstly Kosh, you're clearly a double hard bars****, and a legend. But if you were going to get on the field and give it your all, you might only be at 70%. Now that 70% would probably better than anyone else's 100%, so it'll do, but Hemed needs to be a bit better than 70% to play on Monday.I'm not knocking Tomer here but ahem... This kind of modern footballer injury 'fog' grinds my God Damn gears! When I play football and get injured I know how bad it is immediately. I would know if I could make Monday... And if I needed strapping up in order to make what is the biggest game this season... Well... then I'd be on the field and giving it my ALL.
Quite rightly so.Ok I admit it, I'm stressed.
Byrne had Amazing skill . One of my favourite players - him, foster and Zamora . What was he like to play upfront with ?
He was shown on Sky watching the rest of the game with ice packs taped to his thighs.
I am a deeply suspicious person. Hemed didn't look injured to me when he went off. What if the manager decided this: let's contain them, and make them plan for Monday with no Hemed? Feign a twinge and off. Admittely all the other injuries, and the result, made a bit of a mockery of the plan . . . .
Yes, I'm clutching at staws here . . .
Why not just not include Hemed at all and claim he's out injured. Also would you stick to that plan at exactly the same time Goldson gets injured?
Unfortunately I think you missed that straw you were clutching at.

That was where he appeared to be rubbing as did Goldson. Obviously Lewis Dunk will come in for Goldson but we have no similar replacement for Tomer.
