Just throwing it out there but I'm almost certain that Warren aspinall hinted we had been scouting Lawrence last season when we played Ipswich. He was raving about the guy.....

11 goals and 11 assists in the Chamionship puts him in Knockaert territory, only Lawrence was playing in an otherwise poor team.

Agreed and 3-4 of those finishes are top quality. I like very much.

Given the prices players are going for this seems decent value.

Some very nice finishes on those clips, can play anywhere in a front line

Good age, decent pace, looks different to what we have

I'm going to say yes to this one

And CH will get a full low down of His beat mate Mr McCarthy

Must be the only one a bit 'meh' about this.

One good season at Ipswich. Before that he was poor at Cardiff (didn't score a goal), and got 2 in 21 at Blackburn.

Makes Tom Ince look like good value if the fee is true.

What excites me is that if he did sign we would have attacking options of; March, Knockaert, Brown, Gross, Lawrence.
All fighting for 3 attacking slots behind the frontman.
They all have quick feet and all can finish, particularly from outside the box.
We won't get many chances this season so players like this that can pick goals out of nothing are going to be worth their weight in gold. Especially with alternatives if they're having an off day. If Murray/Hemed can finish the few 6 yard box chances we get then we could rack up the goals we need. This is without considering Murphy/Skalak as extra options. Dunk and Duffy's abilities in the air, etc.

This would be a great signing and would all but confirm a 4-2-3-1 formation.

If so, I'd sell Hemed and get in a target man who can hold the ball up and head the ball. We could do worse than try and bring back Ulloa, he ticks a lot of boxes.
