This just reminds me that signing AK for a mere £2m as recently as Jan 2016 is probably the best bit of Albion business since picking up Peter Ward for £30K in 1974.

We didn't pay £30K for Wardy. I thought it was more like £3K, but the sources I can find on line (the official Albion site and Wiki) state it was £4K.

Seems a better deal than the unproven Swiss league player we are looking at for same price!!

All great players have to start somewhere the recruitment team must think he can adapt if he kept up his ratio in the PL he will be worth millions.
